Ah... Lag will really depend on your internet connection, can you maybe try to reboot your internet router, turn it off for about 15 seconds and then turn it on again? We do it on a very regular basis. Does it maybe help?

Hi! so i know how to unlimit the fps rate in some linux applications on a chromebook, but in google chrome on a chromebook, i sadly dont. because chrome is so tightly built-in to the operating system i dont think it is posssible. i hope it will become possible though. i am truly sorry that i dont have an easy fix!

Hi. I wish origin was available,but sadly not... Steam is working on better support for Chromebooks, which should arrive later this year, but as far as I know they will start with only a handful of Chromebooks. What you can do but it is not easy and your Chromebook needs enough power and space to do it is this,it is completely optional but I just want to provide you with an option. Set your Chromebook in Developers mode, install a different type of Linux apps, called Crostini, install steam inside it, enable a special setting called steam play inside steam, and play sims from your game library. I know it is a lot, I don't know if it is worth it, and your Chromebook needs plenty of power,but it should work. Hope it helps a bit...

Hi. Do you want to remove the Linux container? To free up space? Or do you need windows? Windows will be lost though. What applications were you able to install with windows? The 45gb Linux apps, takes up all the space. You can remove the Linux container from where you turned it on in your Chromebook's settings and you will have all the space back. Hope it helps?

Hi. Thanks for your comment. So in this video i looked at official ways to install or run windows on a Chromebook,as a virtual machine and web services. Only some of these methods is however compatible with your Chromebook, as the first method needs a Chromebook with an Intel 10th or 11th i series cpu or AMD ryzen. However to replace chrome os with windows is possible, there are some tutorials available,not from me,but it can be dangerous as you need to change things in the firmware,and if something goes wrong at the wrong time. You can sit with a completely broken Chromebook. So if you want to get windows,i truly recommend to sell your Chromebook and buy a windows laptop. Hope it helps

So sims 4 is tricky. A person needs to put your chromebook in developers mode and enable a different form of linux inside chrome OS,a bit tricky to be honest and then inside it with steam and a special layer called proton it is possible. If it is in your steam library. Don't know if it is worth it for you?

The applications were mainly media players and photo editors--the VLC Media Player for Chrome and the Gallery/Photo editors for Android are not to my liking. I am much more familiar with Media Player Classic for movies and with Irfanview with images. Additionally, I wanted to attach a USB-C hub to get more peripheral (Printer, external CD-ROM/DVD, Hard drive, external monitor ) devices. Finally, I have noticed that my browser activities eat up a lot of space (I clean all cookies and browser activity afterwards); will the SD card help with this? The Chromebook was an in-between computer until I was able to replace the Toshiba Satellite computer (with Windows 10) that bit the dust; the Chromebook will be my mobile computer and the WIndows 10-based computer will be for greater, more high demand tasks....

I sadly don't know how to install sims 4. However, if you go to the settings of your Chromebook, inside of it to the about Chrome OS section, and you have a 64 bit version of Chrome OS,then you can install second life. Hi. Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately Linux can't be installed on external storage on a Chromebook. Only on the actual hard drive. Also,the R11 is a great device, however it isn't compatible to install windows as a virtual machine. Ad it has a Celeron n3060 or n3160 cpu and to install windows on a Chromebook you need a 10th or 11th i series CPU or AMD Ryzen inside of your Chromebook. Hi. The Asus c425 is a great chromebook but it doesn't have a 10th generation i series cpu, it has an m series cpu. So it is sadly not compatible with this tutorial. There are some videos out there on how to replace chrome os with windows,but it can be dangerous because if something goes wrong at the wrong time, you can broke your Chromebook completely.
