Dude your Halos are going to shut off whenever you turn your brights on with it spliced into the foglight wires because they do the same thing; they shut off when your brights are on. Just in case you didn't know.
This is a really good install and a really good Idea! Two Thumbs Up!!! It has also convinced me to buy these lights. What do the three wires connect to? are they each to an individual halo and the leds?
@maggic003 Sorry was on vacation, so ya you can do that pretty easily. As for day time use the Halos are unfortunately not very bright...so they can be hard to notice in sunny days...
Sounds cool...I also was thinking of hooking the halo/led to my parking lights. Now, would that be the same steps you did with your fog lights? What color wire is the p lights, the yellow or brown? Thnx!
@braddelf3 I hear ya! Ya I have one of two of the only 08 GT Coupes here and mine is better looking then the other stock one. Well the chrome ones might be a bit brighter cause of the reflection but I am not to sure...
@drumtechmh Ok so ya the two red and the one white are just the power to the Halos and LEDs the Blacks are the Grounds. The reds are the Halos and the white is the LEDs. Is this what you are asking?
@nojcire Well kind of. The normal function of the headlights are indeed plug and go but not the Halo's they have no instructions and no other videos on how to do this, imo poor advertising.
@Illrunyou thanks man if i have any trouble i'll be sure to hit u up haha but it seems pretty straight forward. when u take out the headlight is the connection to the fog light easy to see down there?
@braddelf3 Well the drivers side is very easy to get at on the GT Coupe 08 but the passenger is a bit tricky I would start with that one! Might take some small hands and arms to help!
only problem i seen with that is when you turn your high beams on, you halos will turn off.. at least thats what happens in my 2006 Pontiac G6 GT Coupe
hey gotta question i just ordered halo projectors for my g6 um so i do exactly wut u just did and then plug the big connector back into the fog light they will all come on together? cause i want that since my fog lights are white
yeah haha thank man i love my g6 and always love having the nicest looking g6 in my town a lot of kids are jealous they way mine looks :p once i put these halos in they are ganna flip :p what do u think would look better on my dark green gt coupe... the crome halos or the black halos cause im like ready to order them can't decide which i like best
I have a Pontiac G6 GT and my headlights have a kit on em.... which I just found out. I noticed the voltage is higher from it but the lights are important to me with my eyesight and memories I had with my father loving them when I came to his house. I was wondering what can I do cheapest maybe say $150 ish or so to replace them... Because I changed them both with some new lights but I doubt highly this cheaper quick fix will give me the range of light I had before. Can anyone help me out.... again I love the kit, but didn't know that It was installed when I bought the car 3 yrs ago.
@calimakj219 You do not "need" a HID Kit if you do not want too, but I am going to post a new video with the Eagle eye Headlights. IMO they are much better then the spyder!
@maggic003 These Halo's are not bright enough to really see during the day to be honest...this is why I did it this way so I can have them on a switch. Plus you can still plug in the fogs and have them all work.
hey run you..do you really need a hid kit? i hear its easy as plug n go. im getting the spyder chrome. can i really use the already harness in my 09' gr
the halo lights I bought don't have two red and two black wire it has two red and two white ones not only that my pontiac doesn't have fog lights so what to I connect to? help would be very much apprecated
@Illrunyou Where can I get the Eagle Eye Headlights, do they work with HID's? and How would I add fog lights if mines didn't come with factory fog lights?
Can I add on hids to these halo lights? Hows that worked cuz I assume either u have hids or halos, I didn't know u can install both Lmk I gotta 2006 G6

Did this myself and now my car won’t stop tripping ballz. Everything keeps turning on and off and car won’t even crank. Never felt like a bigger dummy in my life
