How to install Prinsu Roof Rack on a Subaru Crosstrek

I am wanting to vinyl wrap my roof and do it properly... wondering if it's worth the trouble lol. Crazy. You have to disassemble the whole car to access under the roof rails.

it looks cool and if you use it according to it's purpose then it's worth a try. but for the ton of work that needs to be done not to mention the clips that i might break during the process, it's a clear pass for me. also i live in northern part so half of the year we are dealing with snow. it would be a pain to remove snow on my roof if i have that roof rack installed, plus the amount of rust it will build up. but if you live in an area with no snow then it would be ok. please don't get me wrong, i still love how it looks like. also the step by step procedure you did. all in all its a very nice xtrek!

Just installed my Prinsu rack yesterday on my 21’ CrossTrek and they gave me all black bars, even for the front wind deflector

Nice setup brother, I’m getting mine this Thursday I live in Seattle and I’m not sure what’s a good sealant to use we’re at 30-45 degrees range every day. What kind of sealant did you use? I Need something that can cure fast in cold weather.

Did your part numbers make sense for the rack mounting? My kit came with 10 large washers and 6 smaller washers and no lock washers in spite of there being 12 roof holes…

Now that you have done an install....is it possible to cut the existing roof rack with a cut-off saw and drop the bolts from the rooftop? So you don't have to drop the headliner....

I hope you put Loctite on all those little bolts. They look like they could come loose down the road.

what front piece wind deflector did you get so it's completely straight across for the entire 44" width? I only see a 40" option and it doesn't look the same as yours

I would break everything inside. Would love one for my new Forester Sport but doing that in the Phoenix heat is not happening and a shop would charge me out the a**. Looks so good though, bro.

i think this would fit a 2017 but i need a 2018 to measure the roof to know for sure . any one installed one on a 2107
