So theirs been a lot of issues with the tutorial and people haven’t got it working so I’ll give out the answer to the problems that happened the most. - Default Loader redirects to regular smash : 1 . You may have the wrong sd card, you need SDHC for this mod to work 8-32 gb sd cards, micro sdhcs may be unstable 2 . You are missing files 3 . You may not have the right disc (Sorry if I didn’t specify the disc type as you need NTSC-U smash disc for this mod this also goes for rom, hence why dolphin is recommended for play due to Wii’s Region Lock 4. Ya know when I first tried to get this I felt so sad because when I installed my homebrew and stuff on Wii U, got a copy of Brawl to mod it sucked to find out I needed a SDHC and that I couldn't use a SDXC. I wish I knew sooner ngl.
I did say clearly in the beginning as well as in the thumbnail you can see an sdhc if you skipped through the video that is on you at 0:43 I showed the sd I used

I also tend to skip bits of videos 😥 good news is I do have the mod working on Wii U now, yeah it can crash or freeze but no biggie to restart game or system, anyhoo thank you for the vid keep it up 😁
i booted up the mod on homebrew channel (default loader, i'm using a 16 GB; SD card) and it sends me to the original smash brawl game. wth did i do wrong?
@@ddwdd.w Yes US region ISO or WBFS (.iso or .wbfs) might be capital as well but those two are the emulation files that are compatible but yeah, theirs a dolphin tutorial linked in the description
does anyone know how to play this online,my loader (cfg loader)has enbaled use of wiimfii,and i have enabled and saved my configuration to allow games to use it,but when i try to get online on project ex remix it says that i havent allowed for the use of it,althoutg i did it in the configuration and saved it,and when i try to get to play online it lets me enter trough the menu to a certain point until i try to play a match online,it gives me a error and softlocks my wii so i have to turn it off by maintaining the power button pressed,does anyone know how to fix this?
By looking at the disc itself, bottom of the Nintendo logo read the small text if it says “FOR USE ONLY IN USA, CANADA, MEXICO AND LATIN AMERICA” you have the correct disc
@@supermariopokemon6972 make sure you have your vwii modded with the homebrew channel and with a sd card 32 gb or lower you just grab the files for pmex remix and drag them to the root of your sd card, then just go into the homebrew channel and play through the default loader(you’ll need the disc) Ive tried playing this mod through the usb loader but i could not get it to work

@@octo_gab no you need home brew in order to boot this mod. You can look up a tutorial on RU-vid for homebrew follow all the steps carefully and you’ll be able to boot this mod (make sure yoj disc or rom is NTSC_U)
Genuinley, WTF is wrong with this download. I'm trying to redo this and just like last time the file is taking forever and every now and then it will auto cancel saying there was a network error or dick is full even though I have a fresh 32GB sd card🤬🤬
@@Rockysnappzz most likely a computer related issue, I’d try another device at that point, if you got android and but an sd card reader you could put files on the sd card that way

Everytime i tried to load it it just started vanilla brawl and now i know why it’s because of the wrong SD card I have a 64 GB SD XC instead of a 32 SD HC one. But how am I supposed to know this if every Google Doc guide that comes with the download link under the name “read me” doesn’t work anymore
I showed what SD card I use and need in 0:44 If you’re coming in to blame me for something you didn’t take the time to watch, You should review what I put out instead of blaming me for your own mistake.
@@PuertoMK no no you understand me wrong I wrote my comment after I saw your comment that said which SD card you need I’m just frustrated because without YT videos I can’t find a proper install guide online because all the official google docs don’t work for some reason. With Project+ it was so much easier

If your a moron like me do it like he did in the video. I thought i could just take the folder and drag it to my sd card. No I forgot homebrew has to recognise the "apps" folder before anything could work. So yes go into the folder and highlight then drag. Don't copy it because i had problems with that too, likely too big to just copy and paste or some bullcrap. In the end i got it to work so thank you Puerto
Hey I followed your tutorial step by step and I am having an issue where instead of booting into Pmex Remix it just redirects me back to the homebrew channel. I made sure I had the brawl disk inside the Wii and I have all the things required to do it. I did not have much time to retry fixing it but if anyone knows what I did wrong I would really appreciate it thanks :).
@@PuertoMK Hey so I figured out that the reason it wasn't working was because I didn't give the Wii enough time to register the Disk 😅...But aside from that I fixed the issue.
I’m able to download the game and get it on homebrew but when I load up default loader it won’t load and says “instruction at 0x80205fd 8 attempted to access invalid address 0x0 read from DAR” I’m confused and wondering why it’s not working
What region are you, you specifically need an american copy of Project Remix, either that or I’m thinking you are missing files try redownloading it and replacing the files
You may be missing some files if not you have to wait a lil bit loading times are p long, it’s due to how much content is within this mod, even during selection screen you will face lag
If you need further assistance the discord is in the description but what does it show when you try it? Do you have a specific sd card you use, it has to be sdhc, and only hc regular sd doesn’t work from my info, sdxc doesn’t work either
