How to Install Replay Mod WITH Optifine 1.20.4 2024

Today I will show you how to install Optifine and Replay Mod on Minecraft!
AND a tutorial of how to use Replay Mod!
If you are having issues, let me know!
I have tested that it does work for 1.20.4 :)
Some basic things to try first would be to
1. Make sure the version you are installing it to has already been played at least one time
2. Make sure all mod versions are the same (ex: all mods you downloaded are in 1.20 (some may be in beta or preview versions))
3. Make sure you have Java installed

Make sure all of the versions are the same! This is an issue that has been happening lately. Also, open the Minecraft version you want to install it on first! Optifine takes quite long for updates, and so does Optifabric. Make sure all versions are the same because if they are not, it will not work. Also, try downloading java at www.java.com/en/download Hope it works for everyone! Edit: MAKE SURE ALL VERSIONS ARE THE SAME!!! (download the correct version and I am 90% sure it should work) I tested that it does, in fact, work with 1.20.4 by the way :)

@@jeremiasysusamigos For 1.20.4, you have to click "+ Preview versions" then select the preview version OptiFine HD U I7 pre3. I'm not sure if pre4 is compatible yet do I would just use pre3

my problem is i cannot get fabric + replaymod + optifine together. I only can do it separately , but i want it together but its crash

Does not work on 1.20.4. Only if i keep Replaymod out of the mod Folder. If not it crashes if you try to start. i need Fabric for Replaymod but also shader and block variants in 1.20.4. This seems to be impossible, at least at the moment. Very sad, shader works good with Iris + Sodium too, but there is no block variant mod alternative for 1.20.4 for fabric. Only Optifine but this way i cant have replaymod

Every time I try to launch the game it says that is has crashed and I am not sure what I can do about it.

Whats the error code? Make sure all of the versions are the same! For example 1.18.2 for all of them or maybe 1.19.4 for all of them. Make sure you have played the version before installing the mods too.

Doesn't work in 2024 (1.20.1 version) I found a solution. You should download: fabric_installer, fabric_api, iris_mc (if you want shaders), replaymod, and sodium (it looks like OptiFine, but for some reason, a few texture packs do not work the same as with OptiFine, and glass blocks don't look solid, unlike with OptiFine). Explanation: ReplayMod is no longer compatible with OptiFine starting from the 1.17 version. That's why we are downloading the alternative Sodium instead of OptiFine. Hope, I have clearly explained the information I have, I apologize in advance for my knowledge of English.

everytime i try to launch mc with the mods is says game crashed but when i remove the reaply mod it launches perfectly fine

Make sure they have the same version. Optifine is notoriously slow at updating... Replay mod could be newer or older, just make sure!

If that doesn't work, try re installing replay mod. It sounds like that may be the issue

Minecraft is crashing with exit code 1. versions match n all its just when i click play it shows that it crashes

First, if you havent played the version before, try play it to download all of the game files, but if youve played the version without mods, it should be fine. Next, I would make sure all of them are the same version, you say they are, but just double check. doesnt work for 1.19.2 for me for some reason the optifabric doesnt work says it not suitable for 1.19.2

Oh yeah... I forgot. Optifabric still needs some time to update to 1.19.2. I guess use 1.19.1 until that updates. Hope that helps!

one thing frustrating is ive tryed every other thing for this, a later version of replay mod, a later version of optifabric, a later version of fabric, a later version of optifine, and only this combination worked for versions above 1.17, at least this worked.

Ya, you just have to make sure all are compatible. So all 1.19.2 or all 1.18.2. For optifine, there is no 1.19.3

This video was advertised as 1.19.2 because optifabric is only updated to that. Right now there is a beta for 1.19.3, but yes sadly optifabric is not yet released for 1.19.4

@OatmealMC I just realized, optifabric 1.19.4 is in a beta right now. If you want it to work, use the beta. I didn't realize this mistake until now because now I use sodium and replay mod...
