I seen the official ring video and they just showed them screwing the screws in the wall without using a drill. So do you know if your way is better or theres is? Or it dont matter? Because they also didnt put those anchor things either. PS: On the ring video they said the anchors are only for if you put it on brick or mortar walls. So did u mess up?
Well if your wall has wood behind it then you don’t need anchors. However, on the interior walls inside the house where it’s just dry wall, I will always use anchors otherwise screwing into drywall it won’t hold it very well. So it really depends where u are mounting your camera and how well you want it to hold.
