Bibi, THANK YOU SO MUCH! You saved me about 7 days of agony as SCCM is very tedious. This video is amazing and deserves 1 million likes. I had a small issue with getting the downloaded content files to pull down using 1902. I just pulled down the Eval for 2103! You are the best!
Great video, lot of information in a little more than an hour. I never installed SCCM, only using it. Thought about installing it in a lab to learn more about it. Easy to follow along. This one deserves more views.
Well done. Great video. please i will appreciate if you can help me wilt solutions for this task. 1. Create and capture Windows 10 dynamic image using Microsoft Configuration Manager native tools (Windows 10 version supports Dell hardware) 2. Develop a custom Operating System Deployment Task Sequence to deploy the captured Windows 10 image
Hi Thanks for your Videos, helps me a lot to understand, I get a lot error messages at this point after checking my Component status on SCCM : Modifying Active Directory Schema - with SMS extensions. DS Root:CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=andeby,DC=local Failed to create attribute cn=MS-SMS-Site-Code. Error code = 5. Failed to create attribute cn=mS-SMS-Assignment-Site-Code. Error code = 5 After I have added SCCM_administrators (users group) to a Member of: Schema Admins and run it again extadsch.exe problem has been fixed, however, I can't see anywhere you mention that this is required or I just miss it, thanks again for your good work.
i'm at 46:13, and it is still showing: UpdateServices-Services [IN PROGRESS] and its now 10+ minutes later.... Is there a log file I can review to see what is happening? I had not set settings for SXS, ,and it was not needed for other earlier stages which installed features perfectly fine.
Hello, would really appreciate your help! I'm at one of the last steps I'm receiving an error at the wsus post install stage. Everything before the video has gone down well so far. Basically when I select sql server, enter my FQDN and instance and make the default WSUSContent folder in C drive and click configure at the very end I get an error stating: "The process did not exit correctly or was unexpectedly terminated. Refer to external log files or resources" I'm not sure what to do if I can't get this part working. Also not sure where the log files are! If this doesn't work is there another method to do this post install step?
Oh don't worry I fixed it, i think it had something to do with filling in my domain credentials in the settings? I'm stuck now at the sccm installation step, it's having difficulty connecting to the sql server :(
[Update] would just like to report that I've been able to fix the connection to sql at the sccm step. I used the power shell script to make the inbound ports but I think maybe the sccm setup validates the connection under a different protocol? After I enabled all protocols for those 1433 and 4022 ports I was able to advance to the next step :)
