I must say, you have the widest selection of QUALITY parts and great DIY guides to go with them! I've been getting tired of seeing garbage knock off parts all over the net and videos done by 16 year olds on KwikCams. Thank you so much everyone at AAS!
Thank you for taking the time to explain the requirements needed for the installment. I figured something could go wrong. the brackets are the actuall key to everything. :)
Not sure why I watched this... I have very comfortable leather heated power seats with adjustable lumbar support... I just enjoy your guys' videos I guess haha
I've installed aftermarket seats twice and was able to use the original seat brackets slightly modifying them so try that before buying aftermarket brackets
Excellent video! Very thorough. I especially liked the tip on upgrading to the Allen head bolts. Like you said, saves time and frustration during the install.
I'm wondering if any Sparco seats would fit my '75 280z because I was wanting to put some in, but I'm unsure if it needs a new bracket for the installation.
great video but your next video should be on performance parts like turbo's or even notorious that would be awsome but i was wandering if you could make a video on how to instal a supercharger because that would be very helpful
Im waiting till im 18 and im going to buy a nissan 240 sx and upgrade it things is andys autosports i guess is in america i live in tenerife but it will give me some ideas thanks for the vids there really amazings :D
I have a 1970 camaro and I really like the seat you put in that integra. do you have to install with the slider? I'm trying to mount my seats as low as they will go, but the padding in my current seats is to thick and the thigh bolsters are to high. they are reclining style seats, but I can't have a slider in nhra class I'm in.
I changed seats of my Z and the air bag light used to blink after the shop did put the weight sensor inside the passenger seat + the 4.7 resistence So my question is: If i crash ( Hope never happens ) will the airbag deploy?? I read it won't deploy because of the seats. It is true? lol now i got 4/6 airbags but will it work for any collision??
Do these seats recline forward to make it easier for people to get into the back seats? if not, which seats do? and what kind of rims are those on the integra? Thank you!
The Ciphher CPA 2k series is beautiful. Do these fold forward? I don't recall if you said already sorry. Also, do you sell back seats to match these aswell?
With a newer 2006, with a weight sensor in the front passenger, do you think I would run into and ECU/ warnings or any issues with putting aftermarket seats in?
Hi I was looking at the recaro seat brackets but I don't what is the difference between the sliders with tabs and without tabs? Can you please explain it to me? Thank you!
hi Andy, i was looking at you website foe seat brackets but couldn't find of my seat brand, i was wondering what you would recommend for dx racer reclinable seats to fit a 2000 mitshibishi mirage .....
I'm concerned about seat height when I install these. I currently drive a 2006 BMW Z4 3.0i which has electronic seats that can move my sitting height up and down. Is there anything that can adjust the height on the cipher racing seats? I only found 03-05 brackets, but would they fit my 06? (06 they redesigned the z4)
The problem of making a video on installing body parts is that every car is pretty unique, it would be very hard to make a vague video on how to install say a bumper, since the process would be different with every vehicle
In almost all cases, they do not. They are mounted using customer brackets that have a fixed height. If more questions come up, just let us know. Thanks!
Ok cool, yeah you can do it. In order to install any bucket seats, you need to get brackets that will work for both your vehicle and for the seats your going to buy. These are the seat brackets we have available for your Chevy: www.andysautosport.com/seat_bracket/chevrolet_c-_and_k-series_truck.html And then once you know what brackets are available, then you know what options you have for the seats. Since the brackets are the "Cipher" brand, it means you can pick any Cipher brand of seats to go with them. These are the Cipher seats we have: www.andysautosport.com/racing_seats/chevrolet_c-_and_k-series_truck.html?Brand=Cipher%20Auto So you'd buy the Cipher brackets and the Cipher seats, and you'd be all set to go for a bolt-on installation in your Chevy. Hope that helps!
