Welcome back everyone! Today we will show you how to install SjoyBring W006 Car Stereo with Wireless Apple Carplay Android Auto on a 2010 Toyota Prius without JBL. Connect your phone to your car radio via bluetooth and wifi for wireless carplay and android auto, and you can access your phone's music, navigation, messages and other features while driving safely. Why does my wiring harness have 2 + (yellow wires) and 2 - (black wires)? Am I supposed to connect 2 wires to the 1 wire on the stereo?

Not sure. The 2 yellow and black wires are they coming from the stereo? Do you have the same stereo or different model?

Thank you for your video. I hope I can find the correct wires for the steering controls on a 2005 Nissan Titan. I saw video from another YT, so I have an idea of the correct pin. I hope I can connect everything easy like you if I plan & lay everything out.

@@AutoSensationSir I have everything wired exactly like you but bc I have a Nissan Titan 05, my steering wheel control wire from my truck is a 24 pin. The directions from ASWC-1 is different from the wires you used specifically the Green/Orange and Black/Green which connect to your Prius harness. From the ASWC-1 the color I'm suppose to use from my Titan seems to not work, perhaps bc its for another brand of Head Unit. Should I use the same wires you used so I can program my steering wheel? If I follow your instructions for the steering control, the only thing I have to figure out is which pins from my trucks harness I have to use. Ive narrowed down Pin 14 is ground but the other two, Pin 12 " red" and Pin 13 "Green", are the pins to make the steering wheel function, but Im not sure which colors I should connect from your instructions , the Green/Orange & Black Green. At this point from my trouble shooting and guessing what the problem could be and the solution. Please let me know if I should use the same wires as you did. Thank you so much! Or, if my original wiring is correct per ASWC-1 instructions, perhaps I need to search the radio type sequence. :/ I need a day to play with this and also figure out carplay for my iphone. I ordered a cable for the usb bc I could not do it via bluetooth.

Does the brown/brake wire need to be connected to a 12V+ of the parking brake switch, or a body ground of the switch? Thanks

No. You can do without. It just gives you control with the steering wheel

2001 Volkswagen passat- This unit fits perfectly but, I can't mount the locking brackets from the old single dash factory radio onto this unit. And the brackets that comes with this unit won't fit in my car. How do I find specific locking brackets for this unit to my car? And do my car need that steering wheel control unit sold separately to work in my car?

At around 7"45 seconds you are connecting 3 wires into the dash. What are those 3 wires? And what wire harness are you connecting to in the dash? I personally am installing this on a 2021 Hyundai accent with the Crux swrhk-65q. I have 3 wires left over myself. Reverse gear output, parking brake, and vehicle speed sense (sensor). Are those the 3 things you are connecting? Thank you!

The wires I'm connecting are for SWC. Key 1, Key 2 and ground.

I think it's because you are already connected through Carlink or android auto. If your not connected to that then you can connected directly.

I recently bought the joy-w022. I am using a galaxy s21. I can not get it to mirror video from the phone. The phone is connected they car play. But when i watch a video on the phone it doesn't mirror to the stereo. If i connect it thru usb it says invalid. I put the mirroring app on my phone but it always says disconnected and offers me nothing i can do to change that. Any ideas on what to do?

Did you download the mirroring app? Then connect via usb. On the stereo hit carplay then mirror

Can you show how quick it starts playing song using carplay? Like when you're playing a song, you shut off the car, then start the car again. How quick does it start playing the same song again. I have Autoplay and it connects in about 5 seconds after starting the car. The song plays 2 seconds after connecting

My unit turns on for only a few seconds and then turns off, and will not turn back on without unplugging the harness and reattaching the harness to the unit. Any ideas what could be going on?

Did you ever get your issue figured out? I wired mine following all working diagrams to a T and I’m having issues with mine turning on and off with the car not even on, or just flat out not turning off. I had an aftermarket radio I previously installed and it worked flawlessly it was just outdated and I wanted Apple CarPlay, starting to think it was a mistake.. I email customer support for help and just keep getting redirected to this video and wiring diagrams. 🤦‍♂️

@@Alborn30 I did, I straight up hardwired mine though which is what caused my problem, but easily resolved once I looked into it. If you are going the preferred route with a harness I’m afraid I can’t be of any assistance. I love the unit myself, after getting it working it works better than my wife’s stock radio in her ‘22 rogue, CarPlay connects faster surprisingly, smooth touchscreen, I was impressed. Custom load screens and wallpaper with customer assistance, I hope you get it working, I’ll help if I can!

How can I adjust the navigation volume? My apple music is good but can’t hear navigation unless I turn it way up but then music is to loud. Also can I use the radio while using navigation?

Go to your basic set up and adjust navigation mix attenuation to your desired dB. I rarely listen to radio but right now I can't figure that out.

Thanks. I have turned that to the max and still can just barely hear it. If I don’t use any music I can turn the volume way up and hear just fine but the music comes back on and almost blows my speakers.

In another video on YT I saw that if your OEM radio had a built in amplifier you have to wire the radio a different way. So for my Jeep I will have to use only the rear speaker wires because my built in amp handles the output to the fronts. Just a thought.

I think that YT video was with a BOSS and Crux SWC module. But it shouldnt change the underlying fact that you may need to wire it differently if you have a built in amp.
