How To Install Sound Mod - Realistic Combat Sound Mod | War Thunder 

At the moment, Gaijin has disabled sound modifications for the game due to conflicts with the latest version of the game. I might update this post or create a community post once Gaijin re-enables sound modifications and also Realistic Combat Sound Mod has been updated. Currently the sound mod creator for Realistic Combat Sound Mod - FireXsoldier is working hard to update this mod for Seek and Destroy. UPDATE: June 27, 2024 Sound modifications are now working again! and Realistic Combat Sound Mod is now updated for the latest Gaijin Update Seek and Destroy!

I went into a match after this update and noticed that I can't freaking hear the enemy tank and their american engines, then I realized that I needed to reinstall the mod. Tks lad

I am having trouble. I followed all the steps to install, extract, move to mod folder and edit config but nothing in the audio has changed, if there something else i may be doing wrong? Update: after some more searching looks like all sound mods are broken right now since the release of Seek and Destroy.

Installed this mod and found all the vehicle sounds worked, except for the rest that weren't in the mod had there sounds almost muted

This just broke my game. I can't open the game's window. When I click in it, the game window just closes again.

I did everything right but it still doesnt work and my soundtracks just doesnt wor kanymore so i had to uninstall and install the game again to fix it could it be the mod or is gaijin still havent fixed it ?

Doing a fresh reinstall as we speak but by chance do any of you (mod maker included!) have any idea why the game launched through the launcher on steam isn't detecting the sound mod? I've tried editing the config.blk, putting the sound mod into a mod folder inside the sound folder, even dropping the sound mod files directly into the sound folder and no dice. Would really appreciate the help!

I made a reply but I thought id make my own comment for help troubleshooting if you ever get the chance to reply. so I followed your steps and I get big red words saying sound mod is enabled inside war thunder but i still just have the base audio. ive tried extracting and not extracting the same file in the folder. I downloaded it 3 different times and followed the steps again. seen in another comment changing the audio from sound{ speakerMode:t="auto" fmod_sound_enable:b=yes enable_mod:b=yes } to sound{ speakerMode:t="stereo" fmod_sound_enable:b=yes enable_mod:b=yes } fixed someone elses problem but this isnt in my case unless they have to be in this specific order? in my notepad they are sound{ fmod_sound_enable:b=yes speakerMode:t="stereo" enable_mod:b=yes } does the order of the file change anything? im using the august 28th 2024 file. and wt says I have a sound mod enables but no sound is working besides the base game sounds.
