How to Install Supermarket Simulator Mods! 

Thank you for making the mod, it's very handy to have that control of restocking.

Can you make a mod where you can do a flash sale and put a sign up that attracts more customers?

Did you extract Tobeys BepInExXmelonloader and then place the contents of that in the main game folder?

So it will show items as red below a certain threshold if either the shelf stock or the storage stock for a particular item is below that it will be red. Some of mine like chicken are always generally red or orange due to the sizes of boxes in storage I never get above the threshold.

Just tried it, for some reason it occasionally gets flagged as adult content. Not sure why but happens from time to time. So if you are not signed in it won't show up. If you sign in and then click the link it will work just fine. Just tested it myself

i have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times and still no luck :(

Specifically the refill all mod stopped working on Tuesday with the latest update. So the mod will need an update to come out to work. Store delivery also had the tick option to toggle it on and off break. However it still does delivery off items to storage. I would try a few other BepInEx mods to see if they work.

Have you booted the game up and come all the way out? Sometimes it needs a restart for them to show up. Otherwise that's the correct place, are you running any mods in may be conflicting with? And is the file fully extracted?

You shouldn't have to but since the last game update some mods don't work as intended all of the time. Which mod was it that you installed? It could be that you need to alter the config file first? Is it purely money you are wanting to change?

Did you place it all in the main game folder? And then did you boot the game up and quit out?

@@tpgamingx12 fixed it, when I first extrakted them they had they're own folder inside the main one,but I moved them out of that. Now its ok

I'm not sure why, as long as the folder has been properly extracted and copied into the game folder. It should work

I would't have thought so because the way you mod this game is actually adding them to the downloaded game folder. So without access to that. I don't see how it can be done.

It depends on the mods you use. 99% not really no. In fact towards the end of my series playthrough I was adding and removing them quite a bit as game updates replaced the need for a few. However any furniture ones such as pallets for example although they don't affect the save, obviously if you remove it the stock that is on it would have nowhere to go. The only time it affected the save in any way was the update back in June. And all the furniture mods broke but I was able to get it back working again.

@@DeniseNo-dj9qs There are always risks with any mods. So it's always at your own risk. But yes you should be safe.

If you can locate the game folder it may be the same. But I have no idea.

For MelonLoader mods, place it in the user data folder within the MelonLoader folder. Also for BepInEx mods, place it in the config folder within BepInEx.

You could try deleting the files and putting them in again fresh to the game folder. Also you could try adding the folders manually if it still won't work. So look at the ones I have and put them in yourself. Other than that, on Nexus mods there are quite a few posts, it's possible someone else has the same issue and has found a solution. Hope that helps.

I'm not really sure what to suggest having not come across this problem myself. There was someone in the comments of my Trying must have mods video. Their name is @ElderonAnalas. They seemed reasonably up to speed with the modding in this game. Maybe they can help.

You mean when you download them? If so they would probably still be in your downloads just unpacked. Most of the files you download will be .dll files or folders

The mods are for pc, I wouldn't imagine there are any mods for any mobile supermarket sim game.

When you extracted Tobeys BepInExXmelonloader. Did you copy the contents to the main game folder. So that they were all separate in there not in a folder together?

I used to have a version of it before when I had all the products. But not ran it since the update. Is it just the names that are wrong?

Sounds like they possibly haven't been renamed. If you go into the texture replacer and look at the product names check to see what they are called. Books are products 12 - 23

It will generally tell you on the mod page when you download it. Either in the description of the mod or you can check the requirements. But usually it will say place in BepInEx plugins or place in MelonLoader

Shouldn't have to, for some mods you might have to do a game boot up and quit for them to initialise but they should all work with your existing game

​@@tpgamingx12 StoreRename, Portable Scanner, NoMaxOrderLimit, More Customers, Lolz UK Brand Pack, GameBoost and Currency Changer (GBP) all of the from Nexus Mods. If I may ask would you please be able to do a tutorial where you can install the above mods, it would be very helpful to me and many more.

So I won't be able to record anything for a couple of weeks but if you are anyone is still struggling by then I might do something. Until then the best I can do is a little guide. So to start with make sure you have Tobeys BepInEx x MelonLoader download it extract it and place the contents in the game folder and boot the game as shown in the video. Once you have downloaded the mods Extract them and then put them in the correct folders. Store renamer and No max order limit are MelonLoader mods so once in the game folder as shown in the video. Click into melonloader and place the extracted files into the mod folder. For store renamer if you want to edit it go into userdata within MelonLoader you may need to start the game for it to appear in there. Portable scanner, gameboost, currency changer are all BepInEx so place the extracted .dll file into BepInEx plugins. For textures you'll need to also download the texture replacer mod first. Once downloaded place that also in BepInEx plugins that should be a folder with three others inside of it. Logo Texture Brand names Extract Lolz uk brand pack and you should receive the same three folders. Copy and paste the contents of each one into the mod. So the contents for textures into the textures folder in the mod for example. Lastly for editing any BepInEx mods go into the config folder within BepInEx and open the mod you wish to edit and hit save when you are done. If you don't see your mod in there. Give the game a boot up and quit first to create the config file. If you are unsure editing config files, watch my 21 mods video. I underline things to change in the video. It's usually just adjusting the number to whatever you want it to be. I hope this helps 🙂

Yeah, I believe there is now a mod manager available on nexus mods which allows you to enable and disable them from it. But I haven't tried it yet. Up to now i've just removed them from the folder if I don't want to run them.

So if it's a melonloader mod. Inside the melonloader folder in the game folder you'll see another folder called mods. Place them in there. For BepInEx all mods go inside the plugins folder within BepInEx

I've never had an issue with the character moving by itself before. As for the mods, it might be worth clearing them out of the game folder and starting again. Sometimes it's something simple you have missed but when everything is in the folder it's not easy to see what.

Did you just place the .dll file on it's own into the folder?

I can't say for sure because I have not tried it. Some mods might work, but ones that utilise full game features would not.

The prologue is a very old version of the game so I highly doubt it.

Which ones are not working?

Yeah that's the thing at the moment finding which ones still work post the last game update. I have been able to get the stock manager working again though after removing mods that were not working anymore or clashing. Are you on a new save or an old one. I found once putting some new items in storage it seems to work.

@@tpgamingx12 ok! It works now! Apparently, the .dll file was 0 kb, because Winrar was being an arse (lol). Used a different zip system and it came out properly. I can see my stock numbers now. Thanks for your help!

I've had the same issues since the last game update. Whilst I think some mods don't help it seems to be an issue people have even without them. If you fire them, and then make sure there are no boxes left on the floor anywhere. And also maybe even stack the shelf they were trying to do. To sort of clear that task through and then re-hire them seems to work for me

Do you mean the boot cycle to make it all show? Just launch the game and quit out the same as do to start it.

Yes they do. and they all were working with today's update. The store delivery tick box option was was missing today but the mod itself was still working.

The same thing happend to me after the last game update. It was to do with the shelving I used a mod called furniture fixer and it sorted it. You have to run it, save and quit and then go back in and everything popped back in.

Basically impossible i'm afraid, because these mods all need placing in the game files to work. If there was built in modding maybe that would be different but with the method you have to use for this I doubt it's possible. Hopefully they will 🤞

That's alright. I've not had any issues personally. I do remember when I first started using it. Needing to click right on the product photo on the shelf and if I was slightly off it wasn't registering.

As far as nexus mods the only way you can download from there is to have an account. It's free to have one though. So the only workaround would be to use github. As for the launches, are you meaning they won't initialise. Example, the melonloader mod folder has not appeared after a game boot cycle? Otherwise they don't affect the game in any way unless you have mods actually running. Alone the launches do not affect the base game at all.

Did you definitely extract all the files and place those files in the main game folder not in a folder of their own?

So there are two ways of checking. The first is looking on the updated tab on nexus mods which shows the mods that have been recently updated. The second way is better and easier for your specific mods. When on the supermarket simulator section of nexus mods. Go onto your profile in the top right corner and click my mods and click download history. You can sort them by latest update and also see when you last downloaded it. So if the updated date is later than your download. It most likely means there is an update available.

From me, grind i'm afraid. Have a couple of shelves per item to make sure there is plenty of stock and build it up. I have mine in a semi logical order. Fridge, toiletries/cleaning and dried goods. I downloaded a refill in one go mod today, costs a fortune. But after a few days I gradually managed to get a full store room.

Agreed that would be really useful. Even mine isn't exactly how i'd like it. Some things are out of place. Although the restockers use it mainly now and they don't mind haha.

Wrong folder maybe? All the BepInEx ones need to be in the plugins. And the MelonLoaders need to be in the mods folder in MelonLoader. Or the version doesn't work with the game at the moment. The 21 I used in my recent video showcasing them all last Tuesday all worked at the time. And people where leaving comments about using them as well. Some people have mod conflicts with a few mods so you have to pick and choose.

Do you mean so you can use the shelf for other products instead? Right mouse button while looking at the label

It's most likely to do with the latest game patch. A few of the mods are currently incompatible

Are you still running some mods? Generally any shelving or fridge ones are causing the issues. Also i've had issues when unpacking new checkouts with no mods running think it's a new update bug.

Are they ones that have not updated? I've removed a few mods after the last game update. But I still have some melonloader mods working just fine. Such as refill storage, permaday, pause restockers and stock manager. And pallet mod is back now too.

It will be available on nexus mods, if you search for it there it should be available to download.

It would be the exact same method you see in this video. Once you have set up for modding, just download the richer customers mod like I do the other mods. That mod is a BepInEx mod, so the extracted .dll file goes in the BepInEx plugins folder as shown in the video.
