How to install Terraria 64-Bit tModLoader AFTER 1.4 (0.11.8) 

If you do not see an exe file, that's okay. You don't have file extensions on. Find the file that has the same icon with the same name. If it doesn't have exe at the end, that's fine. If you'd like to turn file extensions on, Google how to.

Thanks! It worked, I just run the game and it ran at 20 FPS the first time. I put in full screen mode changed the resolution to 1920x1080 exited the game and ran it again and it ran a sixty FPS! :)

quick little thing to add on for the people with amd gpu's i believe you have to drag the vulkan files in to the regular tmodloader 64 bit file then proceed as usual

I have the same issue where I didn't need to replace any files, then once I launch it I see a cmd prompt for a second then an error. edit: fixed by reinstalling both terraria and tmodloader, make sure to launch terraria at least once before setting up 64bit

can I get some help, my problem is that I followed every single step I downloaded the zip put it in replaced files there’s no .exe though and when I load it, it doesn’t have 64bit (before you say I did it all wrong just know I’m bad at computers and stuff) Edit: I’m an idiot what I explained didn’t really explain my problem so if some how you get what I meant thanks. Edit: I DID IT AND ALL BY MYSEL- jk this random person scattered in these endless but limited comments had some helpful information and I grew a little bit so thanks for helping me get 64bit and thanks to this amazing RU-vid who can explain like a god. If anyone is wondering, yes you can modify the names of the exe files and make it to where the 32bit tmodloader on steam will launch the 64bit version instead. This makes it to where you can avoid adding another game to steam if you choose. All I did was rename the 64bit exe file to what the 32bit exe was named, and rename the 32bit file, kept the original file name except I added a 2 at the name (before the .exe part) go back to steam, click play and a prompt should show up and after that it should say v0.x.x(x in place of actual version number) - (running in 64bit mode) Steam Win32NT on the bottom left Warning - Haven't played around with this yet so it could be unstable, runs terribly or anything of that nature - not 100% sure if it works exactly like adding the non-steam game to steam (warning only there so if there are problems, you can't blame me for causing them because you decided to follow the instructions)

I open the file and there’s not as many as you have and it doesn’t ask me to replace anything also the 64bit version doesn’t pop up on my list to add a new non steam game

So i know this video is almost a year old but i have a quick question. Does the 64bit version of the game track with your hours on tmodloader or do i need to play the actualy tmodloader on steam?

I have a problem with the server. The tmodloader is in version: v0.11.7.8.1 but when i start a server the server is on the new version v0.11.8 and i can`t join.
