Why do you need to install the grass catcher back after you have isntalled the mulching plug? I just thought you wouldn't need it anymore if you were mulching.
The reason you need to install the grass catcher after you have installed the mulch kit is because otherwise it will no longer mow. There is a metal tab that the collector presses against when it is mounted. And that metal tab controls a micro switch. You can easily short-circuit it with a power wire and then you can enjoy mowing without a collection container!
Why should you need gloves for this doing this? If you should follow every step in these Stiga videos you can't even be near it without wearing gloves and that is totally wrong.
