Yes, both can be used for stronger odor control. The OdorTrap® Holder is an alternative to your carbon filter and is not required. Some customers place the packs in side the waste drawer, for example!
Anyone else have a really hard time getting the bonnet off? In its normal position it comes off really easily, but when it's in the replace filter position I can't really get it off. I've only been successful once and I had to apply a TON of pressure.
It’s not as easy as it looks! You just about break your fingers trying to get the pack holder open and getting those tabs to click on after putting the packs in.
