Thanks Sam, the two vids on radio and cluster were very helpful . I want to upgrade my 2004 Ram 1500 Laramie radio to touch with android.. this helps the 2din vs 1 din debate in my head. Plus my PRNDL indicator goes out now I can take that cluster out and find out why its so hot to touch the back of it... Wish me luck- your vids are helpful- Doug
I just finished a full size double din install on my 2004 Ram. What a pain. If someone is looking to do the same, get the shorter depth double din. That would've been much easier. Nice instructions. More emphasis on cutting the top out would of been helpful. Thanks for the video.
For your ac climate control panel how did you install the blue lights? Are they bulbs that you twist in like the dash or do you have to sauder them in?
I see you have dual climate control how do you replace the lights in the back? I have bulbs that are out and the I can’t find a replacement. I figured I would replace the bulbs then.
You have to solder them in It’s a lot of work but worth it You have to remove the bulbs from the plastic holders that they come in so it’s just a bulb with two wires coming off it
@@samswildgarage8805 I just had a local guy install a double din pioneer and 4 door speaker's in my dodge ram 1500. It has infinity audio and he's telling me the only way my radio will work is if I have a pac roem-chr...my audio doesn't work and he said he need the pac roem-chr to by pass it...is this true and how do I rectify the problem if not?
I wired mine up the same as this and have no sound to any speaker. Even marked what black and yellow to use. Same truck 04 with infinity sound. Any ideas what I did wrong?
yes but you need an adaptor so any radio that has a remote plug on the back of it can be made to work with the steering wheel controls i just have not done it yet because i plan on installing a 4th gen steering wheel so i'll get the adaptor for that. subscribe to my channel i'll be doing a video on the steering wheel install and radio interface in the next month
