@raysellers8049 Yes it does work like that. As an example if you own GTA V on Steam, you still need rockstar launcher to play the game. That's how it works

One question, I do it exactly like in the video. I start the game using the Frosty launcher, it works, but when I'm in the menus to press a key to continue, it doesn't say Unite 3.5 at the bottom, only the game manufacturer, and so it doesn't work for me. Since I have the game in German, could that possibly be the problem?
as i am now waiting for frosty to load, there is nothing else to do, except for hitting the like button and subscribing to this legend. P.S now the game is working perfectly fine and I have a 2000 Honda that goes 320 mph

I think something went wrong with the group of dev’s. They handed over the Unite title to Heat remix group I guess. Now they are building up a new server and it’s growing pretty well. They turned down the website because it was unnecessary cost as they have everything in the server. I’ll update the Unite invite links

@@KR4YZEE ok so the error was like 'unhandled exception occured' but after some research i able to run it and install mod as u said in vid but there no rename option of pack so i click on '+' and add 'standard-unite' as u said but still after 6 - 7 time launching game no result. it all appear same for me no change.pls hlp
@@KR4YZEE I managed to fix the issue by placing the Frosty Mod Manager folder in the NFS Heat main folder and changing the launch option in Frosty from Origin to Steam
Should the checkboxes you unchecked also be removed? And I also want to play online, should I install the online pack and do the same with it as you showed in the video?

Did you tried clearing all files and redo it? Try changing the installation drive to another. Repair your game using EA desktop or Verify the files on Steam Double check the "In-game overlay" of the EA desktop and disable it
So i have the problem the game wont lauch through fmm it just opens ea for a bit closes it then again and then starts ea again but not the game so would be great if you can help me thx
You have to download the Unite mod files. I have mentioned the links in the description. And if they downloaded as zip files make sure to unzip them using winrar or 7zip
For some reason the mod manager doesn't scan the game automatically for me. When I add the exe myself it spits out an error and doesn't let me progress. Any tips on what I can do?
@@KR4YZEE It just says that an unhandled exception has occurred but I don't see a particular error code. It's pretty weird considering that last year I was able to download the UNITE mod. I got rid of the mod folder and frosty folder before just like on video.
Since I still have to go throught he story I suppose I have to rename the "Unite Story" profile to "unite-story" just like "Unite Standard" that changed to "unite-standard"?
Having an issue with the mod. I'm hittng launch but NFS heat unite doesn't seem to boot. Been through the video a couple times trying to fix it but can't figure it out. if you have any suggestions that would be great. Great tutorial BTW.
i did it all selected the game put in the Key then it says "An unhandled exception has occurred" "Padding is invalid and cannot be removed." then a bunch of coding stuff idk what to do about that

i realise no matter how ive done the process , the mods just dont shows ive done install the same few mods in few month ago , and saved some modded engine swap but recntly i reinstall the game and re do the whole mod process, the modmanger and game both run fine but the mods just dont appears like it used to

You didn't extract everything in the Frosty zip. You are not using the latest version of Frosty which you can get from frosty-updates You installed the DatapathFix incorrectly as shown in the tutorial. You did not disable your in-game overlay in EA Desktop. You did not try setting your launch options to EA Desktop or Steam. You did not set your Mod Load Order to List Your PC's operating systems language is not set to English Where NFS is installed there's an .orig file. Delete the .exe that's in the folder and change the .orig file to an .exe by changing the extension by renaming the .orig part to .exe Delete the ModData folder in your NFS games directory. Repair the game in EA Desktop or Steam. Moving the game from a HDD to SSD and vice versa. Clear your Frosty cache folder in Frosty's install directory. Clear (delete) the frosty folder located in "appdata/local". To reach this folder simply press Windows key + R, type “ %localappdata% ” and hit enter. Uninstall and reinstall NFS, EA Desktop, and Frosty. Restart your PC.
Don't use extreme stance mod if you are going to play the story And make sure to use Story compatible pack to play the story (Don't use standard modpack)
Everything’s working perfectly fine but I can’t really play missions on unite.. Everytime I try to play my game crashes.. I just downloaded the standard pack as shown in the vid

@@blahblahblah7563 probably it's ea online acting up again, I've experienced that a lot before when playing with friends and I haven't installed any mods yet. Actually, when I installed unite online it made my game more stable online, no crashes and I get invites right away now. And there a lot of videos here in yt that can help you fix your problem
ive watched your two videos and followed every single step and still when i load up my game it doesnt load up the unite mod just loads up the base game only, have gone back and forth and done all trouble shooting and nope still just loads base game

Ok this is a weird one cause when i go to import when i get to the part where you import the unite mod it does not show up, but other mobs show up. The only difference is the mods that show up show up as adoc type Winrar Zip archive and unite just shows up as a winrar archive. so it doesnt allow me to even select the mod zip to import into the launcher.
i did, but i realized the issue I had the wrong downloads, so i used the link in you description. so the mods are added now the only problem i have is to do with the garbage ea launcher... I bought the game on steam but ever since this ea launcher forces me to launch the game with both launchers I've always had problems with unite. @@KR4YZEE

I have an issue after doing everything and lauching the game it just keeps saying lauching on steam but on the ea app it just doesnt do anything any solution? (game bought on steam) and i also changed that it launches from steam.
Just use the "Add Mod(s)" button to import other mods to the Frosty Mod Manager and most importantly remember to keep all the extra mods under Unite's main mod files in the mod order. (Always set mod load order to "List") And don't forget to Subscribe to the channel and stay updated with upcoming content. Happy gaming!!

I have an issue with playing the campaign, im using the story compatible add on, on the story compatible pack, with no stamce mods so it doesnt cause issues, have the mod load order set to priority and in the order that they suggest on the unite discord server but my game still crashes everytime i try to play a mission. Whay can i do?
Hello Krayzee ! When I first came across this video, I bought a PC just for this lol ! I’m unfortunately having some problems running nfs heat unite.. I bought the game through epic games that links with the ea desktop app. When I apply the mods and launch the game, the vanilla version launches. I’ve just been frustrated as of now and would like more insight from someone with great experience.
Yes I renamed them with no space and a dash in btw like “unite-online” . I think buying the game through epic instead of steam might be the case .. EA is just so troublesome I tell you.. if there is any tips you could possibly let me know I’d be thankful man ..!

The UNITE mod is designed for a specific version of the Frosty Mod Manager (FMM), so it might not be compatible with the latest version. To avoid launch issues, it is better to stick with the current version of Frosty. It is mentioned in the Discord which version of FMM works with each NFS title.
what is the difference between unite standard and unite story? I wanna replay the story with the mod, should i use the unite story instead of unite standard?
Hello, can you help me i followed all the steps but the FrostyModManager just opens the EA APP and nothing happens, i tried redoing everytime 6 times and reinstalled the game 2 times still nothing works, also try adding the datapathfix from your other videos, still it didnt work, I bought the game from steam but it still need the EA App, what am i doing wrong ? The reason the garage is super bright is one of the following; You are not using the story compatible mod. You are using the story compatible mod but your mods are out of order; the story compatibility mod needs to be directly under the main UNITE Heat mod. Your mods are in order but your Mod Load Order is not set to List.

@@uareworthless185remove the mod data, cache from mod manager and frosty from %localappdata%, if it doesn't work then sorry I don't exactly know how to fix it. Also did you purchase the game or is it pirated cause the mods won't work on pirated
