Those look outstanding! Love the way the actual cylinders look so much nicer than the originals then you add the added clamps on the sleeve ,the hoses and lights just beautiful. Great job on the video this helps us rookie crane collectors not be so nervous to do these nice additions to our models. I thank you now I will have to do this to mine as well as my 11200 but that one is still in the box. I do have one question on these... How hard do you have to tighten these to hold the boom up? I'm always worried of the boom collapsing on me. I had it happen on my Grove 6300 luckily some how nothing broke but hearing that sound come from my model room I almost had a heat attack😆 Also the 11200 I bought the jib and extension kits for it so in sure that will be heavy to hold up. Thanks again always love these how to videos
Thanks, I hope this helps anyone who plans to do the same. I thought the same about these holding up like the 11200, but they are awesome, you don't have to crank them down to hold, just a little snug and they are fine, I've had the luffer in my 11200 for about a year now and 2 sections extended, and it's been perfect. Hopefully you have this style with the screw in the side, and not the collar on the top like the old style you have to twist to tighten. I could never get them tight enough it seemed. This style is much much better
