Haha sounds like a great test. I was intending to do a real-world range test with it rather than my standard route. Half on road, half off-road, something like that. Otherwise, I'm gonna be riding my loop for many hours
This is a great question. I'm not entirely sure, it's possible that the aux pack needs the communication over the two additional cables in order to enable discharge, but there is at least voltage there at the connector, so it might work. I may be able to try discharging from it, but it's difficult because I don't have any of the huge connectors they use.
