Is 2checkout still a good option for me to use? Besides how did you add a payment requirement like card details. Did you get this widget from somewhere or you customize yourself?

Hi, If you don't have any tax details you would need to create the 2checkout account as an Individual or as a sole proprietor, and then it will be optional for you

I have been trying hard to buy from Bitdefender via 2Checkout. What a nightmare! It never completes the purchase with my card. I never get a code from my bank, who tells me they never received a request for payment from 2Checkout. Been in touch with Bitdefender who mus be losing money using this shower. Straight to purchase page, no registration page for new purchasers, no billing address page. How can a card be linked back to an address without these things. I suggest people stop using 2Checkout until they have sorted themselves out. If not, traders will just continue to miss sales they should otherwise have had. Useless. Empty cache, I'm told. I do this often anyway. Total waste of space.
