Patri, im learing spanish at a local class. I have learned so much from you and have spared your page with others in my class. We all think you are a fantastic teacher. Michas Gracis Patri from Irlanda!
@rosemarie7705 Was getting dual citizenship difficult? Which were you originally, Spanish or American? I am American, almost pure Spanish ancestry but not Jew, so I can't get Spanish citizenship that way.
@@rosemarie7705 Best of luck! I spent the Summer of 2011 in Málaga after giving up waiting for a visado. Part of my family left from there in 1549 for America. I did get a visa later and spend a year in Madrid (2014-2015), loved it. Most of my family was from Asturias, Basque country, Aragón, and Navarre. One branch did reside in Portugal, hence my name is Ronaldo, but I'm not Portuguese genetically. Best way seems to be to start a business there or buy property. Check the current rules. I envy you, the U.S.A. has become a dangerous cesspool.
Gracias Patry! I am learning Spanish for Beginners in a local class and came across your TikTok videos. This is a great refresher and picked up some new phrases 😊
Hola Patry! I love your videos! I just decided to start learning Spanish and I'm soooo happy that I found YOU! The way you teach is so cool and exciting! And your English is excellent, which is also very helpful and useful for me! You inspired me to study! Muchas gracias excelente profesora!!!!

(I used Google translate for my first couple of written sentences in Spanish, hopefully it says, I like your video's and I study a lot of languages while my native Language is dutch, in some way, because I went for that to say. I came here because of your Tiktok video's and hope that I'll pick it up quickly.)
Loved it!! I am Portuguese and am trying to learn Spanish, I’ve been watching your tiktoks e me encantan 😉 also you look absolutely beautiful in this video!! Looking forward for the next one! Gracias 😍
Aww Melissa, thank you so much for your lovely comment! I’m soo happy you’re enjoying my content, looking forward to helping you learn Spanish! Obrigada 🥰
Muchas gracias!
I’m glad I’ve found you!! I am learning beginners Spanish and is using Duolingo but I always wanted to learn how Spanish people actually say things. My teacher is columbian and I noticed the difference in pronunciation of the “ll” and how you ask name. Her one is - Cual es tu nombre. I never encountered “cual” in Duolingo! But I guess it’s a South American thing 😀
Thank you! I’m happy you found me as well! Yes, there are a lot of differences between South America’s and Spain’s Spanish, but when it comes to the name you could say: cómo te llamas or cuál es tu nombre 👍🏻😊
Check out my latest video, it’s a translation challenge for beginners!
Encantada. Tengo 19 anos soy emirati. yo estudio medicina tengo 8 hermanos. me encanta tocar el piano, hasta luego adios!
I’m looking to move over to Spain in about two years so learning the beautiful language, I’m just wondering if you have any tips for picking up the speed of the language? Thankyou!
Hola, me llamo Adrian. ¿Qué tal? Tengo 25 años. Soy de Estados Unidos. También soy costarricense. Me gusta aprender idiomas. Tengo una gran familia. ¡Hasta luego!
I love you videos! I am learning Spanish with them. Could I ask you if I understood it correctly, 'the' in Spanish is: el => masculine, singular, la=> feminine, singular and then los=>masculine, plural, las=>feminine, plural. Thank you so much in advance.
How come your English is so perfect?? You confuse me, I almost thought you are also English 😊😊 You should teach us pronuciation, it looks like this is a big talent of yours 😉 I would take a course of english pronuciation from you, it's increíble you have so little accent!!!!!
Hola, mi nombre es İrem. Tengo veinte años. Yo soy turco. Como te llamó. Mucho gusto. Como está usted. Bien y tú. Yo soy bien, muchas gracias. Is it correct btw thank u so much for your video it was an enjoyable lesson.
Estudio espanòl for una chica y quiero impresionar. Escribir esto espero que me ayude Any advice?
@@patryruiz. I have only heard one other bilingual person in my life and I am not a young man. She was a very classy (and wealthy) Mexican woman. she didn’t have a ‘whisper’ of a Spanish accent in English and her grammar and vocabulary were perfect. you even have a British accent which I find amusing- similar to children/young people with exceptional talent. I know Cubans who have been in the US for 60 years and still have an accent!!!
Another great video. Party, I have a question. I had learnt 'the chocolates' as 'los chocolates'. But another site teaches 'los bomberos' which is correct or more usual for Spanish in Spain? 😊
Mucho gusto. Soy Finn. Tengo dieciséis años. Soy alemán. Estudio bachilerato. Tengo un hermano menor. Me gusta aprender el Español. ¿Y tú? ¿Estudias o trabajas?
😂 that is a very fair question and the main worry of every language learner. Please don’t stress, people are quite understanding with that and, little by little, especially if you keep watching my channel, you’ll understand a lot more! 😊👍🏻
