Is it right to compare only with index ? Good funds always generate Alpha even in a flat market. Also if we invest lumpsum in dynamic balanced funds the fund will take care of the market volatility. Please advise.

This amount is not invested at once 6 years back. As I explained we have been investing over a period of time like SIP. CAGR 19% captures investments made last one year also.
