A Few Additional Notes that were regrettably left out of the video: 1) Yes you should unplug the USB once the Jailbreak has loaded. Otherwise you could get a crash when switching the console off or restarting, going into rest mode etc. Which would make it take a bit longer to boot up next time you switch the console on. So preferably unplug the USB once it's loaded. 2) To put the USB drive back to normal use Disk Management in Windows. Right click the drive and select the "Delete Volume" Option. Then right click again and select "New Simple Volume" option to turn it back into a working drive. Click next, next etc until it's finished. 3) If the "User Guide" page doesn't redirect you to the exploit host after adding the DNS or you get issues loading websites. Swap the DNS addresses around. So you have 165.227.83.145 as primary and 192.241.221.79 as secondary at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="470">7:50</a>. You can also just use the web browser app instead of the user guide! If all else fails forward port 443 on your router to your PS4's IP address and that should fix the issue. @@difuvalentine also someone said to not forget to take it out. Because it may mess up something if you leave it in and then restart your system. So take it out after exploiting.
my PS4 version is 8.03 ... is there an advantage to finding an older jailbreak version? (more games and mods, etc) or it is better to go with this one (9.00) ??
@@joke-land do the 9.00 it's the only jailbreak that's stable besides 5.50 or 5.05 an because your higher then those you have no choice but to do the 9. Anyway

As someone who has spent over ten years dabbling in homebrew and jailbreaking, not only do I find your videos incredibly helpful, but they also take so much of the anxiety out of hacking for me. There are many guides and outdated videos out there that have mixed results, and even if they do work, they aren’t always clear in their directions, leading to tons of frustration and concern over bricking your console. @@traviscenteno9481 first thing I’d recommend is make sure you don’t have your system connected to the internet, just to make sure you don accidentally update. What firmware are you currently running?

Couple of months ago I bought a second hand jailbroken PS4. I was not playing it so often because the Jailbreak was not good. It was restarting my PS4, turning it off and almost all the times I had to unplug it at the mains. It was taking me 30-60mins every time before I start playing. Thanks to your video I updated the version and the Jailbreak and now it all works immediately! I am just playing whenever I want to without any waiting time like it was before. Amazing video! @@archiecentrele5783 yes, you'll need to find the unofficial APK files for the games tho, and you'll need an external hardrive to transfer the games from. But only if you're PlayStation is still firmware 9.0 or lower. If it's 9.03 then you're already too late
@@kenkensistoso sometimes mine would get stuck in an unexploitable state and would HARD crash every time i tried to load any payload. i'd just have to wait an hour and try again. 9.00 is a lifesaver

The one time having a PS5 benefited the PS4. My PS4 was gathering dust so hadn't been used or updated. I was on 8.55 so was able to update to 9.00 and jailbreak. Happy Days. So we need a USB for the jailbreak for when we start up the console? And what about games that you want to transfer to the ps4 Once you've downloaded the games/apps from a pc, does this have to be a separate USB/Hard drive? And can games run off the consoles storage. Thanking you 🙏

Superb tutorial as usual, this blows the 7.55 stability away, sometimes used to spend nearly an hour just to get the cached page to load up, let alone anything else, this one was instant.

@@ryannshadow meaning you just turn on the console and play without having to jailbreak every time you want to play. You just installed modded firmware after you jailbreak and you were done. Guessing you never messed with ps3 jailbreaking, that required hardware to crack it initially (rewrite the nor chip) ;-).... Ahhh, the good old days.
For those who wonder why the DNS is not working. The creator of the DNS, Al Azif, has turned off his DNS for maintenance and he will repair it someday, but it will take a while
@@celinestas-wp3zc if you find another dns you can put it instead. Otherwise you don’t have to put one, it’s not 100% necessary, it just blocks Sony connection to make sure you don’t get updated and redirecting every internet pages to an exploit one

@@riadh-nh2zi each time! So you should get a small storage flash drive and use it just for your PS4 jailbreak, so that way you don’t need to keep formatting one you use everyday. If you just use rest mode you don’t need to re run the jailbreak. Only if you restart or turn off the PS4 then you’ll need to run the exploit and use your flash drive set up with rufus.
Hey dude just wanna say the DNS no longer works, doesn't not connect to internet at all, just happened today if someone can help me out I'll be greatfull.
I ran into an issue. Your tutorial shows you setting up an internet connection via LAN cable, and you're able to safely access the internet through that once you've changed the DNS settings. Is there a way to do the same thing with the WiFi connection? Because when you follow the WiFi route, it asks you to input the password of an existing SSID instead of manually entering numbers. Once you input the WiFi password, won't the PS4 immediately connect to the internet and to Sony's servers? Please advise!
Thank you for this very thorough tutorial. Couple of queries from noob, if you don't mind: 1. Should I insert the flashdrive everytime I reboot the PS4 and run the jailbreak exploit host? I mean, shouldn't set the flashdrive to its normal use coz we need it as long as we use 9.00 gold hen. 2. What if I want to run that karo218 exploit host (not al azif) from user guide, not from browser. Do I have to set different DNS than showed in <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="470">7:50</a>? If yes, could you give me those DNS numbers for Karo218? Thanks..
Hi, few questions. 1) I dont have LAN internet. I want to connect through wifi. So if i follow all your procedure,like dns setting and all. Then if i connect internet with wifi, add my mobile 5G wifi id and password, automatic updates from ps4 system disabled. Is it ok. Will my ps4 auto update above 9.0, in this case?. If no. Then i can run internet using mobile 5G wifi and load exploit host site as you mentioned. 2) For exfathax image file, USB should be fat32 i guess?. 3) Is that exfathax image file will be used in all exploit site, with all available/future version like 16.2a/b whatever? 4). If i want to disable updates. Do i need to keep on internet. After disabling updates from internet explorer, Further do i need to keep on boot loader option from hen server setting?
I kept my console offline since 8.03. I used a USB drive to install firmware 9.00. I've changed the DNS settings to the servers provided in the description but when I try to load the user guide or any exploit page I get error WV-33898-1, any explaination? I've looked arround but the most common solution is to update to the lastest firmware, and that not what I want do I? :)

Warning - At <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="145">2:25</a> he says "all we have to do now is eject the drive and plug it back into our PS4", but you should NOT plug it in yet. Doing so caused my PS4 to randomly crash when I used the Internet Browser, and then entered a boot loop asking me to update my system software. Updating the software from the prompt using my USB containing the 9.00 update file did not work, and manually entering safe mode (while PS4 is off, hold power button until it beeps two separate times) to update from there still didn't fix the problem. I eventually chose the "Initialize PS4" option from the safe mode menu to be able to boot up again, which wipes your hard drive. From there, I still was on version 9.00 and followed the jailbreak loading steps from <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="630">10:30</a> onwards successfully. Just make sure not to plug in the USB until you visit the jailbreak webpage and performed the steps to get a popup asking you to insert it.
I have a problem guys and I don’t know how to fix it. I turned off the PlayStation last night and now it will not load the JB from the website? I’m using the usb and even tried about 10 times to reformat and start all over again? I still have the JB apps but are locked (as they should be) but I cannot get the JB back. Pls helpz
Awesome guide, and series; thank you! I've having an issue though. I'm on FM 9.00 (PS 4 Pro), and I've used etcher to IMG the exploit onto a USB. When I click on goldenhen through Karo, and access the screen directing me to place the USB in, nothing happens. I do not get the PS 4 unsupported format pop-up until after I cancel from the instructional screen. This causes the exploit to fail. Anyone experiencing a similar issue?
same issue.. I tried for about 10 times and nothibg popped up.. after i restarted the ps4 after a couple tries it worked without the usb stick which shouldn't be an option.. since then i'm stuck with it not working again
Use kmeps4 address as given in the description. Before that delete all the web history n cookies. Then on kmeps4 page click on full auto. It ll ask for pendrive, plug in n click OK then it will ask to remove the pendrive. Then a menu will come, there select golden hen 2.2. It will be immediately loaded. Enjoy
Hi, this video is awesome but im having a weird problem: after setting up the dns configurarion i cannot access the internet. I have tried changing the primary dns to the secondary but i keep getting a wv-33898-1 error
The DNS set up is more of a precaution so you don't accidentally click on the update button however I disabled updates and removed the DNS so even after there are new notifications of the new update and even if I happen to click on them, it wont update since the updates are permanently disabled
Hey really having trouble deleting volume on the USB. Went into Device Management, right clicked on my USB and clicked delete volume. Getting an error that says, "The request is not supported". I even tried going in through powershell with diskpart, but can't seem to be able to delete the volume. Any idea of what I'm doing wrong?
Ran into this issue. I found that you can fix it by using Rufus again, instead of using a diskimg to format, just click "FREEDOS" and format it. It should now appear in your drive.
Hi, I did everything as you told me, but my PS4 tells me: "[Connect to the Internet] is turned off. (NW-31246-6)". I have a PS4 Pro with 8.01 installed and downloaded the firmware on my usb stick. maybe its because of my usb ports? Would appreciate your help.
Yeah sounds like it's not detecting the update on the USB. Try another USB port or another USB stick, double check everything is correctly named with the correct file structure: PS4 >UPDATE > PS4PUDATE.PUP
try go to devices in settings, usb deices, find the usb, hit otions button then click format as exfat (even if you've already done so on your pc), this will delete all your data on the usb, so out usb back into the pc, remake the folders and copy back in the upate file, then try again on the ps4
@@rishalmohamed996 Did you dump your kernel and account data with the payload dumpers? if not, a downgrade to 9.00 is unfortunately impossible This exFAT method was fixed in 9.03 Your options are to wait until there is a new exploit or to sell your PS4 and buy one that has a firmware below 9.00 or exactly 9.00 on it, unfortunately I can't tell you anything else :(
for those who are seing "cannot conect to the server" when launching the browser, <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="641">10:41</a> just go to the regular browser and clean data cookies etc
I got so scared when I plugged the USB in the 2nd time and my PS4 just crashed, couldn't turn it back on ! After a few moments it finally worked. Also, I had to remove the DNS settings in order to load ithaqua. Works like a charm now, thank you !
Im now on 9.00 and to be honest i hate my self for waiting this long. 7.50 was disaster! I lowe that i can now put my PS into rest mode and continue where i left. Thanks for the video

Got it done!! One needs at least some basic computer and file name/storage knowledge but not on a Dev level so that's nice. Some words will be foreign to you if you're not a dev but follow ME's guide and you will get there! Good stuff man I can't wait to start modding on the PS4! Did alot on the 3 years ago but this is a step up. Now someone needs to jailbreak the PS5 and we'll be golden ponyboy 😎
Why I always need to unlock the game after restarting the ps4 9.00 jailbreak?(as it shows lock logo on all games) Isn't plugging and unplugging everytime the usb can damage the port? Please help me sir
This is the guide i followed, everything works and games are running just fine. The only issue I have is shutting down and rest mode. It keeps doing a system check as if the console is having errors. When i shut down and reboot it does a system check. When i put it on restmode to avoid relaunching the jailbreak it also shuts all the way down. When i hold the ps button on the controller it wont turn on and i have to push the power button on the console, and again it does a system check instead of resuming.
Thanks. That was quite easy to do. I first panicked when rufus had to delete the files inside my ext HDD because that's what I used to update 9.00 plus all my ps4 games is there but luckily, I have a usb storage lying around that is clean. I think this is more stable than the 7.55 one. Got it in one time while in 7.55, I had to restart ps4 a few times.
why everytime i shut down my system and turn it on the hen is not there in the settings do i have to keep doing it the jailbreak everytime i shut it down and turn it back on
My ps4 was jaibroken. But suddenly karo218 is not loading. It says account have been suspended when i try to open karo218 in my browser. What should I do!? 😢
There's a few details that you missed here like the error you get when plugging in the USB in Al Zarif , and how Al Zarif doesn't have all the payload that Karo does . With karo you do have to turn off the internet
I’ve been having a problem with my jailbreak on my PS4 Pro. After I run the exploit my computer will not go into sleep mode. The light just blinks white and never turns yellow then the system becomes unresponsive. I have to hold the power button for like 2 mins or unplug the system and do the jailbreak again. Any idea how to fix this?
