I don't know why you are in my recommendations, but youtube has found something I find to be good. Thank you for your content, and I hope you have an amazing day.
I ain't with an agency, I am more of a freelance VTuber at the moment via Twitch and stream when I can so this info is pretty good if I want to get connected with a company, this very much appreciated.
I imagine the future talents of EN2 are watching these shorts religiously. Shoot your shot. The funny scouted Bri'ish woman's serious when she doesn't bring up her terminal case of Bri'ish, lol. Seriously, Rin's such a blessing to be using her shorts for genuine advice.
Yeah, that’s basically me. I want to make content, but I’m really worried about privacy. Vtubing seems to be a really good middle ground where I can be myself and not worry about sharing my life over the internet
If you're an indie vtuber and you are applying for corporate, NEVER make a mention or even imply that you are applying for corporate on any form of social media. Vtuber agencies will see that and they will not hire you. If you can't even be trusted to keep an audition for a vtuber corpo secret, they have no faith that you'll be able to keep any plans the company may be having a secret either.
Yep. NEVER say you're applying. NEVER EVER say you got accepted. Just graduate (or go on indefinite hiatus) and enjoy your new position as an agency Vtuber (it's a lot of work).
@@useraccount333 There are a couple of agency vtubers who have their own indie vtube or content videos on the side that are still active. It's good to check the contract too regarding this and knowing if you have the energy and ability to disconnect both persona for it.
Similar rules (legal ones too) apply even AFTER you leave, graduate, or get terminated from the vtuber agency. Don't mention or slander the vtuber agency, of course
While I am not a demon, I do accept payment in souls, and I can probably get you in an agency, just so long as said agency doesn't lock their doors at night or you know...has glass doors
I was worried this was going to go into the "If I can get in, anyone can get in"-type of deal. I'm happy to see Rin is more self-confident. God help us all.
So basically, treat it like you would any other job interview. Only, if your sending in recordings, you dont have to worry about sweating like a pig, stumbling over your words out of sheer terror or being late. Like I ALWAYS do.
Im currently watching as many of your videos as possible because I just finished „To your eternity“ and your videos are the only ones that can distract my sadness
The don't be afraid of rejection is good advice. Momosuzu Nene failed the audition 4 times before she was finally got in on the fifth try and become part of Hololive JP gen 5 lul.
I literally just watched the VOD of you going through audition advice for 2 hours and suddenly I get this summary like half an hour later 💀 (it was worth it though, your PowerPoint skills are notoriously BANGIN)
For some reason Rin reminds me of like, 2014 Antvenom who would make really thoroughly planned or researched videos. That and the cadence and style of presentation, for some reason. I dunno why. They’re completely different. I think it’s the way Rin infodumps mildly random but clever things?
i feel like lately you are giving so much information ab how to become a vtuber along with advice n stuff which is so nice of you cause you aren't keeping it all to yourself and you're trying to help others out :D
“Don’t script an interview.” This works well for interviews in any other job outside of Vtubing as well. It’s how I somehow convinced a team that i had an actual medical license
I am definitely not a kawaii anime girl, but I kinda like being indie. I set my own schedule, and I have fun just streaming to see who tunes in out of sheer curiosity or boredom. 😂😂😂
All the agencies i find are either focusing on female vtubers or vtubers that represent female characters, ofc i have 2 years until i can audition so hopefully that'll change by the time i can audition
Re: failing an audition, keep in mind that Super Nene-chan was rejected two or three times before cover hired her. You might not be what they're looking for right now but circumstances are always subject to change.
@@useraccount333 Hololive got started because a pair of highschool girls wanted gear to start streaming so they got into contact with a 2 person startup who was planning to make a 3D streaming platform despite their only product being a janky VR Ping Pong game. That's not what I considered to be a normal origin story for a talent agency of any kind.
to be fair, normal is based on majority. most vtuber companies are normal vtuber companies so far. but they certainly aren't normal idol companies, that's for sure
Hey, just a quick question about applying auditions (as someone who's interested in becoming a VTuber) What types of things should I put in my auditions? Like should I state my name, if I'm in school or not, and what type of games I play? I also about the agency provided models. Do you describe what you want the character to look like (or send in a reference image), or do they just decide for me. Like they just hand me a model and are like "ok this is your model now, no questions asked." Or a mix of the two? Sorry if all of this was a lot. I'm very interested in this line of work, but I have no idea what to do for the audition process-
This is a causal reminder to all the escapism enthusiasts out there that even vTubers are technically doing a job as well. (Even if Gin doesn't think it is)
Hmm it’s funny because everyone I watched before Rin told me to script my audition. (I did that for the last audition I did and I did not get in) I feel like it might be better if I didn’t now that I think about it. I’m stumbling over my words and forgetting what I’m saying mid sentence like 80% of the time, and I honestly think that that might just be more attractive than me reading a script and sounding like I have my thoughts together.
since your giving advice i had the question of, if a vtuber is male but using a female model, then how likely is it some might actually hire you. Probably wont get an answer to this one.
I just realised that kawaiaiwai anime girl voice you did is exactly what those types of vtubers sound like. Thank god you don’t fake your voice like that 😭😿😿😿🙏🗣🙏💯🙏
Good thing I have good experience with improv. I almost never wrote scripts in my video class. Its not that I was a bad writer it was more that I was on crunch time and didn't want to.
Hey Rin, can you make a video teaching us how to make a debut video? I'm planning on debuting on a separate account and I have no clue how to make a debut video
I hope I can start streaming soon. Part of me is still a lil scared of putting myself out there, but the rest of me is excited to. It's like how I imagine skydiving would feel. I just wish someone would push me out of the plane right now.
Methinks they hired this one because a British person applied and they thought it would be funny if one of their English V-Tubers was LITERALLY an English V-Tuber.
I want to apply and audition for Vtuber agencies, but then I'll be stuck being the uploading type because my internet is not stable enough for streams, which i know goes against what most Vtubers are for, which is to stream and interact 😂
I think that’s the first I’ve seen a Vtuber use a pic of an actual gun. Like several use like emoji style guns but ur the first that I’ve seen actually just photoshop a Glock 17 Gen 3 and put it in the video.
i kinda want to do some VTubing, but my only skill is writing :') idk how that would work for streaming XD espessily since I have ADHD and my brain does 50 differant things, plus i zone out a lot while im writing. Maybe after I get my brain together i'll try
Looking forward to the hour long presentation on how bad management practices in the entertainment industry severely degrades a studio's ability to meet deadlines and attract an audience.
