Geez, I’ve just gone through seven zoom tutorials to finally reach this clear and simple explanation that I can recommend to my father. Thank you for this. 🖖🏻
Am I right in saying that by default if you click the link sent by the organiser you do not need to input ID and pass code? The pass code should be embedded within the meeting link. Unless prompted with pass code you automatically enter the meeting.
Thank's so much for those zoom videos it really helped me.. I'm gonna use it for the first time with my teacher and another 20 person so i don't wanna do anything weird x)
Hello, can you tell me if the host can join the scheduled meeting early to let people in from the waiting room, double check settings, etc, or does the meeting start when the host enters and starts counting against the 40 minutes? How can the host go in early? I can't find the answer anywhere. Thanks
Nice how did it go? I litereally just had one now and the audio on their end kept jumping and was completely inaudible. Not sure who was at fault but it was just my luck. That being said, they ended up doing it over the phone which was a little less stressful
How can I save a passcode to a regular meeting? I hate having to sift through my emails to get the passcode everytime I try to connect to their meeting...
Can i scheduled the meeting ? so someome told me they were setting up a meeting for next week and gave me the UN and PW but its not happening yet so can i save it so i can just click to join when its due to start rather than trying to find the message with the log in details Please help i cant work it out xxx Many thanks

Just to clear something up it should be mac and windows not mac and pc. PC is the platform NOT the OS. PC does not necessarily mean Windows. Linux also runs on the PC platform.
Would it be possible for an older person to do a rather slower version of this for an older audience please. A lot of us over 70's are having to stay at home in solitary isolation in order to help protect the younger generation from infection. So in order to maintain some sort of contact with our former lives we are needing to use unfamiliar technology. It would be good too if you assume that we won't all know the jargon; so pause and explain what various words mean. Why is the chap wearing a hat indoors? It used to be considered bad manners.
