As soon as I saw this, I knew what colors i was going to make my blocks!! I need a Christmas one, so red and green blocks and I think I will join with gold💗 I didn't do my blocks yet as with each block i made blankets or shawls, now I can make the blocks!!

This is a really nice join. I was having a difficult time to find a join that I like and is also good for my willow granny squares. I was so happy when I found your video because you mentioned that the stitches you have on 1 side does not matter. Your explanation is great, I can now actually make a blanket. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this tutorial, I really like the look of a flat braid join but was afraid to try it, it always looked so complicated. Pretty join nut not sure how I feel dropping hook every stitch. Reminds me of the pop corn stitch that way. I need to catch up with my squares. Undecided on boarder color. I do have a lot of grey so maybe I will use that.
This is beautiful. I want to make my son a blanket in dark colours. 1 mustard, 2 dark grey and 3 light beige. What colour would you recommend to do the border and colour to join. Iam not good with colours. I appreciate your help. My son is 25 years old so no bright colours for him 😀. Thanks Krista.
