This has been the neatest joining method ever. I have done so many varieties of joining methods, but I have now found the method I will always be using. Thanks for a easy to follow tutorial.
This is just what I have been looking for! I am making a mitered square knit blanket but I am making separate squares instead of joining continuously. Using black or white join was my plan! Thank you so much. Also love your pleasant voice and encouraging instructions!
Suggestions for a 2.0 version: Demonstrate using a light colored contrasting yarn, please, and how about a peek at what the underside looks like. Your explanations are very clear. good work!
Great video! I've been knitting stst squares since 2016 from my leftovers and needed an easy way to sew them together without a million ends like I would with mattress stitch. Definitely picking up a crochet hook and doing this!
Meghan - can you post what it looks like on the back side? I am very interested in this technique. I am new to knitting and have acquired several diagonal knitted squares from an auction and want a way to join them together. It looks like this may be the way but I am interested in the back side. Thanks so much!
Thanks Meghan. Very easy to follow no doubt about it. One question though- at the end of one column I have to cut the wool to start joining next column, right? Pls confirm as I don’t see any other way to continue without cutting at the and of row or column!
I did this method with double knit squares. It is a little different, but still has the same finish. Edit: this is my new joining method. Works well with double knit squares.
