Students interested in doing PhD should get involved in research as early as (during BSc) as possible. Research experience (/gaining skills) is much more important than marks. In case, if you don’t have high marks but have good research experience, you may want to directly contact the faculty with whom you wish to pursue PhD.
Yes I agree! Also it will be also good to start finding opportunities to do summer internship or research projects in Indian university labs or research institutions.. Because reference letters from those Indian Profs can really boost your PhD applications abroad 🙂

@@ScienceWithSam It is a fact that one gains tremendous skills, practical experience, and knowledge by doing research in Japan (when compared to many institutions in the Western countries). Sam, it would be a service to students (particularly in TN) if you could do a video on your experience in Japan. This could motivate more students from colleges to enter research.
