How to Jump Like a Paratrooper Without Joining the Military | Tactical Rifleman

I am asking ALL loyal Tactical Rifleman fans to join the RCPT.
This video, we are going to follow Nickolas, Imri, Chad, me, and the rest of our TR family; as we go through Airborne School (for civilians) in Palatka Florida, with the Round Canopy Parachuting Team. I started off the week doing Jumpmaster Refresher, as I was already a jumpmaster in the Army before I retired. I then help the RCPT run the TR Team through their version of Jump School. I say "their version, because it was modeled off of the actual US Army Airborne School. However, I honestly and humbly say that this was the most professionally ran course I have ever seen. It was incredibly fun, while still ensuring the students learned all the information and remained SAFE. I learned more about airborne ops just watching this Airborne Course than I did during my whole 20+ years on airborne status.
We really enjoyed our week jumping with the RCPT. This video is the 2nd in this series, introducing you to the Team. Part-1 will cover the Round Canopy Parachuting Team. Part-3 will cover the C-47 aircraft. Great time indeed.
Want to Jump? Want to know more? Or, maybe, you don't want to jump but you still want to help? Please go to rcptusa.org and join this great organization. You don't have to jump to join. As a matter of fact, you don't have to be military, or young, or American. This organization is a "Non-profit" that needs our support.
Again, I am asking ALL loyal Tactical Rifleman fans to join the RCPT. If you love our channel, and you support what we support; then join us in supporting this great organization. To join, go to rcptusa.org/

@TacticalRifleman
@TacticalRifleman 3 года назад
Hofer, you are missing the point. We have another video about the RCPT that came out a few weeks ago, that you can find in our video archive, or just search RCPT. It outlines the WHY behind what they do. 90% of the jumpers are either former Airborne, military vets that never got to attend ABN School, or are there to honor loved ones that were proud to be ABN. There's also a lot of messed up vets out there, and the suicide rate of vets has just passed combat deaths (let that sink in). The RCPT gives these guys something to focus on bigger than their problems. The RCPT have literally brought guys back off the end and saved their lives. I agree about MFF being better for most operations. I had literally hundreds of HALO jumps before I retired. However, I have never seen a civilian skydive club that has the camaraderie that you'll find at RCPT. Seeing the faces of the old Nam guys, dressed in their old uniforms & chutes, and the old WW2 vets sitting there cheering us on, truly was great indeed. Thank you for your Service. Strength & Honor, TR
