In this hobby you got the casuals, you got the average reptile keepers, the intermediates & the professionals. Luke is definitely a professional. Definitely a top 3 keeper in all of reptile RU-vid.
Thanks for this chat. Great to hear from Luke, and of course yourself. When I rescued the pair of Rankins Dragons, (species oringinating in Northern territory Australia), they had been kept on Australian dark red sand, and it took 3 baths and two skiin sheds to remove the dark colour and show their bright golds, creams and olive green shades, but love these set ups.
Finally Luke is on the Podcast!!! I'm so happy that you guys made it happen this time. Was great to hear from Luke after his evolution to where he is at. (Still wish he were working with Rough Scaled Pythons though)
Two blokes you could sit in the pub with talking about reptiles for hours. And good on ya for downsizing. Heaps of similarities having lived in beautiful Oz myself as a snake keeper. The Sunshine Coast bit up North from Brisbane is the sweet spot in my opinion; loads of herps in the bush and pristine beaches, warm but not too hot all year round. Cheers gents...
great conversation as always, but especially because discussing optimizing the care is such an important conversation that we need to keep having in the community. Thanks for another great episode!
