I have a video for making minced garlic for the freezer that could be helpful for you. Here's the link, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-StRW8thOjNk.html
Excellent tips! Thank you! Just bought 6 qts fresh from FL to NE for Easter! Shared this video my 2 adult daughters so they could benefit from your wisdom too!!! God bless you, sweet lady!
Appreciate video content! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Diyhloern Phrenic Dominion (just google it)? It is a great one of a kind product for preparing you and your family for any crisis without the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my m8 after a lifetime of fighting got astronomical results with it.
I use the vinegar soak to help clean them well and remove any dirt or mold spores that could make the berries go bad faster. Be sure to rinse them and let them dry before storing them.
I don't know where you live, but it's almost impossible to find berries that fresh anymore where I live. The tip about vinegar would probably be helpful if we could find better quality berries to start with.
From the kitchen countertops, I'd guess California? My parents lived in Northern Cal and had the BEST strawberries and same countertops :-) But I could be wrong, lol.
Thank you for sharing how to keep my Strawberries fresh longer. I will try them all out cause I am tired of throwing out the strawberry away. You are a lifesaver of my fruits.
Same I love strawberries but end up throwing them out because they go bad too quick especially in the winter the only tend to last about 1 or 2 days at most
Hi. Can you wash them after removing the top part like you did in the second method? Would washing after hulling ruin the strawberries flavor or anything?
Your video was so helpful! Thank you so much (: I constantly find myself struggling to keep my strawberries fresh since i don’t eat them in time and before I know it, it’s time to buy new strawberries! I needed a solution to stop wasting so much produce and your tutorial did just that! :D
Thanks for using a better song in the intro I know it doesn’t seem like much but a lot of time she will use that same one that’s really annoying like the guitar
Hi do the kitchen towels make a difference an also could I use my airtight container an store my fruit outside the fridge, i did take note that my strawberry dont last in the fridge so im just trying another alternative, would that work
I've heard you can leave them at room temperature for a day or two to help them ripen or change color more. But I've never tried it maybe that would work.
Just here to say that i appreciate ur help. It was pretty clear directions. The doubts all were cleared in the comments So thank u so much for answering all people. ❤
I would believe you would use the same process as with strawberries. Although with blueberries I've been able to keep them a good month if I put them in an airtight container with a paper towel. But those are home grown so it might be different with store bought.
@@frugalfamilyhome Yes I think so. I did the second method as you said. And the strawberries stayed good till we finished them , first time ever. Thanks
