Hi everyone! I also want to add WHY it's important to use an inventory management platform and HOW it's different from your e-commerce inventory tracking. Most e-commerce sites such as Shopify offers basic inventory count, sales reports, and low stock item alerts, which are indeed helpful. However, this platform gives you a more in-depth look at your cost of goods sold, profit margins, the value of all inventory on hand as well as potential net profit and revenue insights, just to name a few. 😉 These are all important details and analytics you need to help you grow a successful, profitable boutique. Knowing your numbers is key! I hope this helps answer your questions! I'd be happy to do a follow-up video going into more detail about optimizing your reports. Let me know! 👍 -Monika 💕
Please do a video on tagging your inventory. What rights do boutique owners have when they put their brand name on merchandise? Where do you get your tags printed for good quality but at the cheapest price?

Hi Monika and thank you for another awesome video! I've learned so much from your online course and youtube videos. I've never even heard of any of these resources until I started watching your channel! I was definitely meant to stumble upon your page :)
This was very helpful! I just started my own boutique last month and now that I have 4 different styles I want to get on top of keeping track of my inventory. This is a great site and I will definitely check it out.
Great video, thanks for sharing Shopventory with us. I would love to see another in depth video on the barcoding/sku numbers....in your experience, what are the pros/cons of having a unique barcode for each individual item you sell? I'm am trying the find the most accurate method to tracking my inventory. I would love to be able to scan in/out inventory. Or if I want to perform an overall inventory count, scan all inventory to make sure my counts are accurate. Does that make sense?
I learn so much from you! Thanks for the videos. I’m on the waitlist for your course, can’t wait to learn more. I would love for you to make more videos detailing anything regarding an online retail, boutique business.
Also, I would like to see a video on supplies you use to run your online boutique. Shipping supplies, storage, etc. Also, how to stay organized while running your boutique at home
I so needed this my only question is. When your customers buy out a product will it shut that product down automatically so you don't get multiple orders for it or do you have to go in a put a sold out sign on the product yourself?
Hi. I have a random stupid question. I'm new to business. At 9:20 you entered the cost of good and your retail price. What does this mean exactly? The retail price is how much you're charging for selling that item on your shop, but what's the cost of item? Is that how much you paid to get that item?
Hi Chaitanya! There are several different marketing strategies to move your products. To name a few, you could host giveaways, create a flash sale, or retake your current product photos to give them a fresh look. It really depends on a number of different factors. Hope this gives you a few ideas.
Hi Sabrina! Great question. Shopify offers basic inventory tracking, whereas Shopventory has more in-depth reports. You're able to view your gross margins, COGS, and potential revenue and profits, which are all so helpful to optimize the growth of your boutique. Hope this helps!
important question , should I do inventory on shopventory or do I have the option to do inventory straight to Shopify? or do I need both ? kind of confused
Most e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify, offers basic inventory count tracking and sales reports. Whereas, this platform gives you a more in-depth look at your COGS, profit margins, cost of all inventory on hand as well as potential net profit insights, etc. You’re able to analyze your reports to grow a successful, profitable boutique. Knowing your numbers is key. 😉👍🏻

What is a good alternative to the Dymo LabelWriter 4XL that’s on the cheaper side but the same quality and use? Anyone in the comments please help a sista out!! Can’t spend $200 on a label printer right now 😭
I’m looking into the DYMO LabelWriter 450 Turbo Thermal LabelWriter Printer; however, I am not sure if it is compatible with ShipStation. I am also not sure if it will print the labels that I need for my boutique! Anyone please let me know!!
