Yea I had same issue and moved on after a few hours getting wrecked from the god damned fireballs and wasting my pots getting hit when trying to get close enough to the edge to throw em in

What you do is ride away until it deaggros from you, come back crunching so you walk in unnoticed, start throwing the pots and don't stop, the pots stagger it and reset its attack table, but if you hesitate, it'll instantly try to perform a new attack from its attack table and just spam you to death, once you start throwing pots, don't stop and you should be fine.

As far as i know they all have some ledge puzzle near them.

@@bearoyay really? Doesn't the very first one stand in the middle of a field? I tried luring it to the nearby ruins and it backs off

It basically works for the ones with like armour on the legs which have ledges near them because you can't do anydamage to their legs it they have nothing on their legs you can topple them by attacking their legs

If you actually fight them and drain like 1/3 of their hp they will get stunned and fall to the ground and leaves his head completely open the game gives you like 30 seconds so you don't have to be worried about time just go to his head and throw it

@@gfammr thats the ones without the iron ankles, these ones you need to use spirit spring and throw fire pots.

You need to throw it inside his "funnel" at the top.

Not really a cheese spot, if you see ones with ropes in their legs, hit the legs until you stance break it 3 times, I recommend switching legs between stance breaks, after the 3rd, it will fall down and you go to it's head (will be on the same side as the leg you hit last to cause the stance break) go crit the head and repeat. You can best dodge stomp attacks by jumping over and staying close. If the legs are steel covered, there will always be a convenient ledge somewhere

I did that to all of them except for the last one near the field of red flowers.

You just hit their ankles until they stagger then crit their face.

They don’t have armor on their legs so you just wail on em until they fall. They fake you out twice before actually falling so you need to poise break them 3 times

use a high stagger weapon and it goes down reaaaal easy

A tip is to jump over his aoe attacks, makes the fight really easy
