Thank you for the tutorial! I've been into breakcore for a while and I've wanted to make my own breakcore songs (as it's outside of my typical genre), but didn't exactly know what to do so this helps a lot with getting a general idea down

That "keep the rhythm" part is something I didn't even think about and it instantly made me want to make breakcore

I'm just a breakcore fan in général but the tuto is impressive i like this just the variation of the break feels like another song with différents mélodies

a thing I personally like to do with breaks is cutting out the kick with EQ and using a separate kick track, because usually it's punchier

I'm surprised you didn't mention using the slice mode on the simplier to chop up the breaks which is what I use. It's much easier since you don't have to manually chop the breaks up and move the parts around and can just play the parts of the break through the keyboard. You can also use arpeggiators, randomizers along with the instrument rack and velocity randomizer to make the breaks more chaotic
