This is the warmest hat I ever knitted, way cool. I changed one thing, after knitting the white brim I knitted the first row of red with just regular knitting stitches, no pattern, just knit, knit...., for the first row of red stitches. And then I started with the pattern. Gives the hat a wonderfully clean edge between white and red on the right side of the hat that is to be seen on the outside. I really like that change. Took a couple of times of knitting this piece and then I started to adjust a little here and there....
Thank you I love how you explain things...I truly appreciate how you let the viewer know... How many stitches to cast on, and what size needles to use....Your instruction is clear and step-by-step. Can't wait for more vids.
Hello, thank you for your video, it's super clear. I was wondering if you had any tips to adapt this to a child's size? Could I simply use smaller needles? (11 for the white and 13 for the red?) Thank you
What kind of knitting is this? The stitches are knit in the back loop and the yarn is wrapped in the opposite direction. Is this just because the camera is flipped or is it a left handed person? Or a different way to knit? I’m confused.
