Thank you so much for the video it's been so enjoyable I did watch till the end. You say 10 stitches to the inch. Is that after it's been washed? I'd hate for someone to get home wash their socks and find that there are different size. Thank you for your time so much appreciation. By the way I bought several skeins of your yarn at the New Hampshire sheep and wool 2024
Thank you for this video. Because of it, I can now crank out this pattern with proficiency! Would you know where to look for men’s dress sock patterns? I would like to get an idea of size cylinder, if ribber is used, which yarn or fiber, etc. that other crankers are doing, thank you again. (I do realize this is an old video)
Oh my goodness!! After working through your process a few times( well maybe a few more lol ) I finally finished a sock. Thank you so much for this video.
Thank you so much! This video helped me so much. I need to work on my tension and stop being so excited that I finished a section. My yarn wasn’t wound properly so I keep dropping stitches. I truly appreciate your patience in this video. Awesome Guy!
This was super helpful, thank you. It would have been even more useful if we could have seen other people's mistakes on screen. I purchased a vintage Auto Knitter a couple of years ago, and I' m going through the process that you went through Jim...trying to make sense of it from the original booklet. I'm in the UK, but the lady who sold the machine to me, bought it from Canada. It had been refurbished .The box for the machine has 'The Auto Knitter Hosiery Co Ltd Montreal Canada' written on it. If you have any further information on this machine, I would be interested in that Jim. Many thanks
