It sounds like a tall tale, but the first time i saw a dude take a ball of the foot liver kick, his knees came up to his body in MID-AIR then he dropped to the ground like he was praying. Never seen anything else like it. The teacher was this tough old Korean man that barely spoke english , and he just went and got a little bottle of some kind of tincture and had the student drink it. Said " Liver....hurt very very bad, headache 2 days ". It's just soooo bad. There's just nothing like it, there should be support groups. You get 100 fighters in the room and just say "Liver Shot" and watch the ones that know wince like somebody just ran fingers down a chalkboard. Freeze the moment of impact and it looks they same ever time.
Jay Chimpanski Look up Bas Rutten liver punch on that one and if you want it quicker but less powerful but more than likely to land version, do pit masters version of a hook from the "jab" position with Bas's style of hooking to the liver. Find your own rhythm and practice on a bag. Ps Slip left from a straight rear punch(Assuming orthodox position), loading the front leg, launch your hook punch to the liver.
