How to know if a shy guy likes you secretly 

It sound more like you yourself would be shy because so far, he follows you around, tease you and is willing to spend time with you. Maybe you did not give him an impression that you are attracted to him. So far, he does nice things for you but the one thing he is not doing is asking you out on a date. He is not even sure you wanted to go out on a date with him. That is why he is not complaining about being in a friendzone. If you don't do any chasing, he is going to think you are not attracted to him. That is why he is a shy guy. The whole point of being shy is not to make a plan to do the chasing. So if you are sure he is shy but you also aren't doing any chasing, it would mean you are also shy. If none of you make a move, then you cannot expect any relationship to move forward.

Doesn't sound like they are there to help you out to approach your crush. Instead, they are competing against you. If your friends were to support you, they would already be playing matchmakers and they would already make sure to help you become brave enough to approach your crush. So in your position, you don't have trusted friends. If you are certain your crush likes you, then approach your crush but note that you don't need your friend's validation.

@@hp2546 thank you sm! honestly its been a while and I don't talk to either of those people anymore because of something else that happened, I decided to move on because he doesn't seem to like me at all(like I said his texts are dry and he doesn't text first anymore) he still follows me first on every account I have but we no longer go to the same school. Right now I'm working on self improvement but he still is an amazing guy
