I’m so glad I stumbled upon your channel! A year ago I saw my doctor about many of these symptoms, then sent to several specialists. They ALL treated me like I was crazy. I have come to realize it was the very beginning of peri menopause, and as these various symptoms develop further, I KNOW it’s peri menopause. I’m 43. Not one doctor thought to suggest this was what was happening to me. I appreciate your channel! Thanks!
Yu have been more helpful than so many doctors. I’m so tired of being dismissed by doctors. Also been told by two doctors “ I have no idea what’s wrong and yu are a medical mystery “!!! What patient wants to hear that ?!?!? Ugh so frustrating
Thank you for sharing. I thought I was loosing my mind at age 44. I’ve been anxious, thinning hair, feeling hot (when I’m cold natured) dizziness, acne even on my chest! I was falling apart. Then worrying about falling apart. Thank you so much!!
I stopped periods at 51..didn't get all these symptoms until the age 56..still struggling at 59..dizziness, headaches, gi issues, bodyaches, dry eyes, lots of brain fogginess to name a few..
Can you imagine the woman experience these symptoms and dealing with cancer? My heart goes out to all these women♥️I’m already in perimenopause and dealing with GERD with a sliding HH, watching everything I eat, drink, stressful situations. I keep to myself always. Letting go of the extra drama!
I just feel like crying right now! I have been dealing with nausea and it is the WORST! I woke up drenched in sweat a few night ago and much insomnia.. I thought I was losing it lol I’m 45 and now I don’t feel alone with dealing with this. So many woman are dealing with this. Thank you for uplifting me today!❤️
kymoii Love Most of my symptoms began at about 45. It can be a rough ride that’s for sure. You are not alone I assure you. There are a whole bunch of us suffering right along side you. Glad the video helped you.❤️
Y’all. Someone please help me. I’m 41 (will be 42 next month) and my body is changing and I feel like I am losing my mind. I am extremely tired all the time. My stomach stays in knots. I was having insomnia for several months before the fatigue set in. I feel like perimenopause is trying to make an appearance but I’m only 41 even though I read that it ca start this early for some women. Last year in March I skipped one period but have had one every month since. I thought I was just stressing out because of fear of Covid but maybe that is what it was. I have no idea. A couple of years ago I noticed hot flashes and sweating but I never attributed it to anything peri/menopause related because I was even younger then but now I’m not so sure. I was experiencing night sweats several months ago but I attributed that to it being summer time and just not having my room cool enough at night when I slept. The sad part is that both my mother and my grandmother have passed away so I don’t have that older female relative that I can go to to ask these questions and figure out how old they were when they started having menopause symptoms and exactly what symptoms they had. I also feel like crying. As a matter of fact I do cry because I don’t know what is happening with my body right now.
@@beautifulsurprise9424 ohhh my dear I’m soooo sorry you are having a hard time with this peri menopause thing, but I assure you that your not crazy.. You are 41 and that when I first started feeling weird... I’m 45 now and let me tell you it’s a roller coaster sometimes... I feel awful some days, some days I feel great, some days I cry all day long, and the list goes on and on!!!I just got a bout of insomnia that I only got like 7 hours of sleep in a 48 hour time frame and then the fatigue set in... So I know EXACTLY what you are going through some ladies says it does get better as you get closer to the end of menopause, but I haven’t felt that relief as of yet but I’m praying it will be soon cuz I’m tired of it too lol🙏🏾
I’m so glad I found your channel. I’m 48 and I started having symptoms last year! They have recently become worse! You gave me ten times more information than my doctor!!! Doctors really aren’t trained in seeing other symptoms besides the famous hot flashes and night sweats!
You are right! Most doctors have little education on menopause and nutrition. They tend to dismiss menopause and offer anti depressants when they do not know how to explain the symptoms or when testing comes back normal even though they know it is unreliable. Many women spend years worrying that something is very wrong with them because they have no answers for their symptoms and the doctors are telling them they are fine when they know they are not. It is such a shame. Practically a crime.😔
I am 44 and I have a lot of symptoms...What do you have? I have strange vibration sensation in my head/brain that makes me so obnoxious..sudden allergic reactions to eye lash glue ( it took very long time to figure and find out that that was causing to my eye to head..),really bad dry eyes that I never had that gives me blurring and nausea, sudden sever constipation, many many more...Do ypou get that very strange vibration sensation in your head and eye areas too...?
@@kikipoo6541 i do!! My first symptoms was an ache in my eyes and I see vertical black shadows on white walls. I have 80 of the 100 symptoms and I’m experiencing inner vibrations at the moment. Its like a vibrating phone inside my body.
I have just turned 51 and for nearly 3 years I have suffered with so many different ailments. Head pain, nausea, blurry vision, severe cramps in the legs and thighs, really hot in the night, skin feeling really prickly all over like insects are crawling under the skin, not sleeping well, lower back ache, aching joints, brain fog, and now a terrible pain in my left shoulder. Because I still have regular periods I would never have dreamed that there was one reason why. Thank you so much for this information it's been enlightening.
Thank you so much for caring enough to share. Been going to the doctor only for them to tell me nothing's wrong. Then, one day, I realized I was turning 48 and it dawned on me that THAT was my problem...PERIMENOPAUSE! I've since changed my diet, incorporated a low aerobic exercise plan and began to live a stress free lifestyle. Anything and everything that stressed me out had to GO! I am now focusing on self care. I pray that all women going thru this natural process would be able to endure it unto the end.
Doctors are often no help! I am glad you discovered it was perimenopause on your own. Sounds like you are doing everything you can to cope with the transition.
I will be 42 next month. I am coming to terms with the fact that I am going through peri menopause. I believe some symptoms started up to 4-5 years ago. I was having urinary problems but I got pregnant soon after and it was put aside. Fibromyalgia, depression and anxiety are factors too. But with unexplained spotting and increased migraines as well as night sweats, urinary problems and anxiety lately have made me face facts. It’s actually kind of freeing to know I’m not just going crazy. Irritability is one of my worst symptoms. I have a 5 year old and a 3.5 year old and a husband that doesn’t understand. 😢
Tending to 2 small kids while struggling with peri symptoms is tough. Having a spouse that doesn’t understand is common and does make coping much more difficult. I hope he is trying to make your life easier even if he doesn’t get it. If you can’t empathize you can still sympathize and be there right? Wishing you well. Hang in there. Hugs!
Joint aches and pains, neck pain, lower back pain, irritability, skin changes, ugh, Imm 55, my doctor said, you’re not even close, after he said, I had normal lab results! Well, I’m sorry, doc, I know me, this is perimenopause, one month without a period, 11 more to go! I was on a roll, went five months, then poof, it welcomes its ugly flow back. Stay strong, it’s the most difficult, issue I’ve ever dealt with next to losing my husband eight years ago. Don’t be dismissed, be an advocate for yourself! Kari, thank you, you’re an amazing woman, I’m so thankful, for your videos, it has helped me so much! God bless each and every woman, going through this nightmare, just knowing, that I’m almost there helps, but the pain, and emotional roller coaster, sucks! God bless! 🙏

I started my period so late (17) that I just assumed I would also be delayed in menopause. I’ve been pretty sick the past couple of years starting at age 43 and thought I have everything under the sun BUT peri menopause. Biggest complaints is profound tiredness and out of breath from time to time, headaches, very light periods and more than once per month. Weight gain and extreme anxiety especially early in the morning (6am) overall feeling hot but not perspiring or breaking a sweat often enough. Also numbness in various places when I am asleep which goes away when I wake up and move around.
I had morning anxiety and panic attacks exactly like morning sickness, and hot flashes with nausea, and trembling. It was unlike anything I ever experienced. I also had heart palpitations 😮
This video is so informative, thank you 🙏🏻 I’m 45 this year and definitely feel things have been changing the last year or so. I had really bad anxiety & dr put me on antidepressants, I’ve come off them now. I get really bad headaches, that make me feel sick. I definitely get more anxious on my period. Periods are currently 21/23 days 😕. I’m achy at times, night sweats are horrendous & I’ve put weight on my tummy! Basically most of the things you talked about! Thanks for normalising peri menopause. All the way from the uk 🇬🇧 xxx
I am happy the video was helpful. I suffer anxiety as well and always have something aching. I also have extra pounds on my tummy and wake up roasting at night. It sucks! I think the subject of menopause should be normalized. It should be as talked about as puberty. They have just started adding menopause to the school curriculum so that is a definite start(Depending of course on what they teach😉)
@@KariAnneWright thanks so much for replying! I’ve also got a frozen shoulder which didn’t think that was anything to do with peri menopause until you mentioned it. I worry about blood pressure too , but when I take it , I get so stressed it goes up but then after a couple of times it always comes down so I’m trying not to think about it at all because I know if there was a problem it would be high all the time! @@antoniaedwards9528 Glad to hear the videos help. I am often up in the middle of the night. My blood pressure has spiked but is generally ok. Recently I discovered my cholesterol was up. I assume due to the diabetes because my diet is pretty clean. Now they want to medicate me for that and I am so sensitive to meds I am scared to try it. Ugh! Always something now. So exhausting!
I was on Sertraline for five days. I had the worst side effects I’ve ever experienced in which I ended up in the E.R. I get relief from anxiety with Chamomile tea.
Thank you so much for all this information on perimenopause. I have been experiencing alot of these symptoms. It helps to know that you're not alone in going through this phase.
You're most definitely not alone!!! I'm only 37 and experiencing it too. Thought I was going nuts, wound up crying in my Drs office. Didn't realize I could even begin this process so early. It was scary. Found this channel and suddenly everything began to make sense. I find it's the week after my period that is my 'hell week' as I call it. Hot flashes, pain, forgetfulness, sleeplessness, loss of appetite, overly emotional, etc, etc, etc. I was so afraid before learning the truth. It still gets to me, but KNOWING what it is makes so much difference. So you're NOT alone, I feel you and understand you, I'm sending all kinds of love your way. You can, and WILL do this, and you'll get the best of it, it won't get the best of you. Hang in there, you've got this!!!❤️
Omg you guys this hit me at 40! I mean the minute I turned 40 I felt like the day after my 40th birthday my body said...hold my beer! Watch this!! Ended up in the e.r. blood pressure through the roof and currently I'm 44 and I'm still dealing with lightheadedness, muscle twitching heart palpitations as of now I'm having my first super long period so far I've been medium flow for 8 days! In and out of bed trying to keep my iron up cause I'm anemic and I can't stay asleep it's irritating!!! My damn Fitbit is telling me I'm not sleeping enough!! I feel like a droid crying and laughing like a looney my sister who is 50 just told me to look for videos on perimenopause now I don't feel as crazy thank God for her and you for posting this ...I thought I was dying I cry alot because my blood work looks ok but I always feel like something is wrong and omg!!!! You just mentioned ringing in the ears!! My ears are driving me bonkers they have been ringing for 2 years now ughhhhh!!!!
@@TorriaYAH222 Girl, I could have written this myself! Your experience is 100% what I’m going through right now. I turned 50 and most of this started the week before my birthday in July. But I’m now realizing that the “waking from a dead sleep with heart palpitations” thing started for me 2 years ago. I had no clue what was going on, as it was the only symptom. I’ve had 2 periods in the last 4 months that lasted over 3 weeks each with bleeding so heavy this last time I was sent to the ER to rule out hemorrhaging! I’ve had to go on a prescription strength iron supplement for the severe anemia as well as another prescription for low Vit. D along with progesterone. You are NOT alone! Thanks for leaving this comment. It made me feel not so alone as well. 🥰
I started having symptoms at 40 I'm 42 now... The tinnitus and anxiety are the worst. I have had constant ringing in my ear for almost 2yrs now. Not to mention the irregular period. I changed my diet to mostly white meat turkey, fruits, and veggies. I feel a lot better!
i had heart palpitations when i was 54 its was through the roof i even end up in the emergency thinking i was having a heart attack when i saw the doctor he run test and do blood work everything comes back normal i was shock I'm now 57 and the palpitations is gone i don't feel it again i was even going to see the heart doctor and nothing was wrong i love your video you gave me hope
I do have palpitations still. One thing is good, a blessing, is that the epileptic seizure have dwindled! But my sinuses have flared up, causing nausea and fatigue. Many people DONT understand menopause. It wasn’t until I bumped into your program a year ago that my eyes are beginning to open.
Thanks so much for these videos. The last 3 years have been complete Hell. I’ve seen my doctor so much and have been to the ER 4 times. They tell me it’s anxiety and gave me narcotics which only knocked me out didn’t help my heart palpitations or my night sweats. They did blood work said I was healthy. I have so many symptoms, my right eye has been driving me crazy, went to the eye doctor he said it’s perfect, have night sweats, heart palpitations, achy joints, weight gain, forgetfulness. I looked for my phone for 25 minutes while I was talking on it to my mom. I’m 52 years old and not one doctor had ever suggested peri menopause, my mom never went through it she had a hysterectomy at 27 so she is of no help. I cried when I found your channel. I feel like I’m dying and now I know I’m not alone. I also have diaphragm and rib pain which my doctor said it was from my anxiety. Because I feel like I can’t breathe. I get about 3-4 hours of sleep a night. I wake constantly. I can’t get back to sleep so I lay there dreading everything and thinking I have cancer or something. The night is the best time for my anxiety to really make itself known. I get my period with such severe cramping sometimes twice a month sometimes every other month. But I wish for my period because when I have it I don’t have air hunger. I have sinus pressure as well and have been put on antibiotics 3 x since January it doesn’t help they just say I have a sinus infection. I don’t. My ear feels weird and my sinus on my right side along with my eye. The doctors just dismiss me. I thank you so much for this information and when I’m stressing I’ll watch one of your videos and know I’m not going crazy or dying. 💜
All of those symptoms sound about right. Many women deal with them. I have several myself. Low estrogen causes an increase in inflammation in the body so the rib pain could very well be costochondritis. I have it myself. Anxiety is one of the most common symptoms, some of it caused by fluctuating hormones and changes in the brain and gut and some from the fear of the sheer number of symptoms. I’m glad my videos help. You are not alone! Hugs!❤️ Btw I have a support group if you want to connect to other peri and post menopausal women. The link is in the description of every video.
Yes I suffered from palpitations. I reckon I really started peri at age 46 and a half and had my last period aged 51. I had palpitations on and off most days for a year at around age 53/54. I don't suffer them now. I'm aged 56. I think I prob suffered every symptom imaginable!
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much for this information! I thought I am dying and even thou I have been to the doctors and they find nothing wrong with me I thought there is seriously something wrong with me. I’m 48 and am experiencing many of these symptoms. But what has confused me is that I dont get hot flashes so these symptoms really tricked me. I have been looking all over the internet for this info and even doctors never told me this. God Bless you! I feel so much better knowing this is normal and that I need to survive.
Happy to hear the doctor says you are healthy. That should help reassure you that you are ok. Having said that perimenopause can be a rough transition. Also it is possible not to have hot flashes until closer to menopause or not at all. I just hit menopause last week and my hot flashes have gotten worse over the last couple months. God bless you too! Wishing you well.
Hi Kari i'm soooo glad to see this vlog of yours, because all the symptoms that you've mention are the very thing that i am experiencing and going through right now. I just turned 48 last June this year & i guess as much these are all perimenopausal symptoms that I'm feeling right right now.
I am happy the video was helpful to you in some way although I am sorry you are suffering the symptoms mentioned. My symptoms kicked in big time at about 48.
It can be very challenging to navigate through the perimenopausal years and often post menopause as well. I am post menopausal now and still struggling.
My goodness I have all 12 symptoms and more 🤕 your videos really helped me feel better, I've been feeling confused, depressed and very frustrated trying to deal with all these issues on my own. My doctor treats me like I'm making things up. If they know about perimenopause why do they treat each individual symptoms and show no sympathy?! It's very frustrating. I'm glad there's videos like this to bring us comfort, knowing we're not alone is already a big help. Thanks for your videos
Doctors do tend to be dismissive and unhelpful. They really are not very educated on menopause or nutrition. I am glad my videos are helpful in some way.
I am 49 years old and was diagnosed with perimenopause 2 years ago. Symptoms started 2-3 years before being diagnosed. I think I am in the end-stage. I went from having no period for 168 days, then cycles every 54 days lasting 14 days to having a period that will not stop. I was placed on progesterone. I am praying it will stop soon and everything balances out. I also have fobroids but they are little.
Yes it does sound like you are nearing the end of perimenopause. I remember the period that wouldn’t stop. It lasted a month then I had a regular cycle after that then NOTHING!🤞 Hopefully you are near the end of the period nonsense.
I’m so nauseous today. I’m just not digesting properly. Can’t wait for this drama to be over. Thankfully it’s usually only a few days a month when it’s this bad.
I suffer nausea as well and it really is not pleasant. I have to really watch what I eat and even that sometimes doesn’t stop it. Thank goodness you only suffer this a few days a month although it still sucks that those days exist at all.
Yes I have some of these symptoms but my doctor said I am too young I start getting these symptoms at the age of 36 and now I am 42 years now and still have the symptoms
Mine started at 40 or 38 I'm now 46 turning 47. Its getting worse now my reflux worst when theres surge of Estrogen or low progesterone or whatever my anxiety is getting bad I keep belching when anxiety comes
Thank you for sharing ...I've being experiencing all of them accept heart skipping beats including bad taste in the mouth, ear itching, hands stiffness and tinkering, crying easily, even wishing i were born as a man instead because of these symptoms l😂
I don’t even know how if u realize how so very your channel is…… what you have done here is validate all our fears, confusion regarding peri menopause. Thank you so much and I have turned all of my middle aged friends on to your very informative channel . Thank you
Thank you for this video. I will be 45 soon and everything you mention I have been experiencing, explains what’s going on with me. I have a doctors appointment with my doctor next month. Once again thank you 😊
Great Video! I'm 47 and I have several of these symptoms! I didn't realize how many you had named off attributed to peri, that I have had. My periods stopped being regular all of the sudden, now I'm skipping some months and spotting other months? I have had forgetfullness along with clumsiness! sometimes its embarrassing! I hope its over soon!
Thank you for this information. I’m almost 50 and seeing many unusual things changing with my body. Reynaud’s started all of a sudden as well as my salivary glands stinging when i start to eat. And the weight gain/bloating around the middle!! Ughhh so uncomfortable! I believe all of these are related to peri menopause. I have other symptoms as well but I didn’t know some of them might be from hormones. Thanks again for your videos- there are very helpful.
Amberen perimenopause supplement works a charm! My foggy brain had gotten worse snd i forgot where i parked my car. I panicked and cried walking around car park; i normally take notice where i park. Heart palpitations are bad though. 🥴 Yes dried skin!! Omg i rub cream in 3 x a day as i would bleed on my legs.
I was having extreme dryness of my mouth that was horrific. I had a panic attack in the street and had to turn around and run home because my mouth suddenly became like a desert. On the way home I ran into a store & asked them for a large cup of ice water. Usually you get dry mouth with a panic attack, but this panic was literally from the dry mouth. That was seriously awful, thankfully after a few months it’s somewhat better now. Happened many times after that.. Had to use xylitol mouth lozenges for a while.
@@Isabell520 I got dry mouth lozenges from amazon. The kind with xylitol that stick to your gums and you can fall asleep with in your mouth. It’s really scary and upsetting. It’s a little better now but still comes back. They do help a lot.
I’ve had a panic attack from a sudden dry mouth, I laughed reading this because I never expressed it out loud to anyone because I thought 💭 am I going nuts lol but this is real I still have dry mouth time to time ….
Hello Kari an other interesting video from you thanks a lot for that, i am 48 , suffering from insomnia, my whole body shake just when i go to bed and try to sleep, it lasts seconds but it occurres all night long when i cant sleep, i also go to toilet at night maybe 10 times maybe more , i have gone to doctors tell them all these, i have had several bloode tests etc etc nothing serious, i am so desparate , so hard for me destroys my every day, thanks for sharing the videos , we need to see that we are not the only one who have all these symptoms, also i forgot to mention how angry i feel all time with no reason and stress of course ☺️
Perhaps week pelvic floor muscles or vaginal atrophy may be playing a part in your frequent bathroom trips. Using vaginal estrogen and doing pelvic floor therapy or exercises may help. This time of life is so challenging. Sending hugs!❤️
Hi Kari thank you for all your help on the symptoms of Peri and Post Menopause. I’m in my Post Menopausal stages. I’ll be 64 soon, and I still get the ❤️ palpitations. I know it has something to do with menopause. Seems like after I eat and I don’t eat much, I get this weird bloated feeling! It drives me crazy! It feels like I got a spare tire wrapped around my stomach and right in the middle of middle of my throat is this feeling that leaves me gasping for more air!❤️🥑🌶️
Thank you so much. It sounds strange but it works for me. I add a bit of salt to my eye drops and it keeps them from drying out. I also used to get clogged ducts and it really cleared up with the addition of salt. It should only be enough to very slightly sting when you put the drops in, not pain.
all d symphtoms of perimenouse here i exsactly felt the same ,its so annoying sometimes i was cyring, i can't do the things that i was doing before. thank u for sharing this vlbog
Love your channel. Women also need to be aware that they can still become pregnant during this time. And it would be easy to be the subject of an episode of "I did not know I was pregnant" 😉 Subscribed. ❤️
I had hysterectomy at 39. I went into menopause or peri menopause at 43 waking up one day with major sever panic attacks. I am postmenopause I guess at 56. But every once in a while I get heart palpitations, very bad with brain fog, depression, fatigue, body pain, agitation, insomnia, all of the 100 symptoms. Yes hair loss too. Hopefully it will end soon. But the only positive outcome is it’s not too sever. Or I should say you get used to it.
It’s amazing what you get used to when you have no choice! I fight my symptoms all the way! I have managed to bring them down to tolerable levels but I would like them to GO AWAY!😔

I have a lot of these symptoms and I’m confused because these symptoms are very similar to Hashimotos . Which they say that they’re all related thyroid, hormones and ádrenlas they all cause similar symptoms.
You are right about that and trying to figure out what is causing certain symptoms can be difficult. In many cases hormones exacerbate existing symptoms. I have fibromyalgia and symptoms that I had before perimenopause are now 10x worse.😒 My diabetes has also worsened.🤦♀️
@@KariAnneWright it’s crazy how a lot of things go hand in hand . I’ve heard fibromyalgia could be a symptom of Hashimotos but also Lyme . I wish I could just get tested for it all . @@RUBY92173 I always said I had chronic lyme but the doctor refused to listen. He said if the screen was negative I’m fine and those tests are wildly inaccurate. I would love to get some actual answers to some of my issues as well. Peace of mind sounds wonderful!😊
@@KariAnneWright I’m sorry to hear they dismissed what you we’re saying. It’s hard to find a doctor to validate what your feeling. With all I’ve been looking up these days peace of mind is just what I need. Thank you so much for replying . I hope you feel better 🙏🏼
Hit perimenopause at late 36 and by 37 it was full blown hell! I had to get on birth control til I turn 50. Digestive/gi troubles first, food sensitivities, then nausea began, crazy cravings, hyper ovulations. Pms got 10x worse. Lost 20 lbs in 2-3 months. Terrible anxiety and panic attacks. Broken sleep and insomnia almost every night but it’s gotten better with magnesium supplement. I now have a night time regimen of things I do or try out to help me fall asleep. Sleepy time probiotics tea helps me and eating walnuts! When it hit me, the heart palpitations were crazy and happening daily. It was like a beating out of my chest. Very scary! Sometimes it would last 5-10 min straight. Breathing techniques helped to calm the heart. I always put two fingers to feel the pulse at my neck because I was so scared. I have had hair loss also. It thinned mostly at the back or crown. The heart palpitations rarely happen to me as much anymore and all the extreme symptoms I had at the start all calmed once I got to the 4-6th month on birth control. I had to up my A and D vitamins. I also noticed I started to develop a little pooch in my womb area not from bloating and gas, but it’s something now that’s just there! Fat has shifted to my hips and butts and gaining more of a pear shape! Sometimes I get dizzy and the spins now. I still deal with my horrible perimenopause PMS sneaking through even on the birth control about 7-10 days before my “withdrawal period.”
I am 41 years old been to the doctor I have had two and only two hormones checked came back normal . My question is , is it common to start peri menopause at my age ? My anxiety gets extremely bad a couple of days before that time of the month and after, it seems it has to do with the rise of hormones and when they start to “normalize”.
There are no hard and fast rules about the age of onset. It can begin anywhere from late 30’s to early 50’s so 41 is definitely in that range. Also hormones are ever changing. They vary from hour to hour so it is very possible to receive a normal hormone test and still be in perimenopause. I covered this very topic in my most recent video “5 Things you need to know....”. Anxiety is also very common when hormones become erratic. Hang tight! Perimenopause can be a roller coaster ride! I empathize completely!
Not every woman gains weight. I haven't. I use progesterone cream and it helps with many symptoms. Progesterone has helped with the hair loss I was having. I am going to seek out HRT, The dangers are overblown, for sure. Yes to the dy skin but you clearly have rosacea so it's likely much worse for you, Im sorry you have to deal with that.My skin is very dry and it's awful.
Not every symptom applies to every women. We are all different. I am glad you didn’t experience the weight gain. I seem to have added an extra 15 pounds that I am struggling to take back off. HRT works well for many women. I hope it solves all of your issues. I wish I could try it if you say it helps with hair loss. I am almost completely bald now. The wig will have to come out soon.😒 Sadly I cannot pursue it because I am at high risk of adverse affects due to past medical problems. I have had the facial redness for years which has gotten worse this last year. They even tested me for lupus just in case because it is so red. The skin issue is a real pain. I hate all of my clothes because my skin is so dry they all feel like sandpaper.😡 I soldier on!🤷♀️
@@KariAnneWright I get the redness in the face, hair is thinning a bit ,but it wouldn't be a major problem at the moment anyway for me🙏as you said we are all different and will not be affected by all symptoms ,but I have most of them u listed, thank you for your help.

My legs and arms feel weak and I'm exhausted because anxiety kicks in before bed because I hate waking up numb and tingling.
@@debbiel4194 I am glad all of your tests were normal. My limbs and face go numb and tingly often and they burn. I had my legs tested for neuropathy so I understand. It is scary and very uncomfortable. I also can’t sleep on my side without my legs cramping. Ugh! How can you not have anxiety! Sending healing thoughts your way. Wishing you well. Hugs!
@@KariAnneWright Thank you so much. I also send you warm wishes and prayers. It is very unsettling for sure. The tingling and numbness down my body is the most frightening and emotionally exhausting. Good news my heart palpitations stopped in april. 2 months after I officially hit menopause. I hope that gives you some hope that the palpitations will stop. Sending hugs 💝
I think I am.. I'm 45 in a few days . Heavier periods, headaches ,burning cheeks and fever like , random sweating , incontinence, frequent urination , cry about anything .. and more ..
So many symptoms.....but some people just don't understand what we are going through. Find it sad also that drs don't seem to advise us either, took me to go to 3 different drs to be taken seriously and get me on hrt.... still have bad days of symptoms. Going to get myself some extra important vitamins 😊
I can’t believe how many women DON’T suffer from all this… I’ve been miserable & people don’t believe me…. What are natural methods to treat all this ?
Diet and exercise are king. De stressing, getting proper sleep, taking vitamins and eating phytoesteogens can help. Some use herbs but I have not tried any of them so I can’t personally speak to their effectiveness. I have videos focused on natural suggestions. It always shocks me that people who don’t struggle with something assume that their experience applies to the entire world.🤦♀️ I am sorry that others do not believe you. That is very narrow minded and unkind of them. I think the majority of menopausal women have symptoms in varying degrees.
Loss of estrogen and aging slows digestion and causes a decrease in stomach acid which often results in reflux, indigestion, nausea, bloating, ibs etc.
Thank God 🙏 I found you Kari! You are such a blessing..a relief to know i am not alone..I am 42 and i have been suddenly facing these symptoms and this anxiety with constant worrysome feeling is the worst . Apart from that I have been suffering from bloating , indigestion, ringing of ears and mood swings so much. It has been a year but anxiety and forgetfulness is the new add on which is the worst .I had been doing regular exercise and on proper diet which had helped me to combat the issue of bloating and indigestion . But this anxiety specially during the luteal phase is killing me. I had been gaining a lot to weight but since I had made my lifestyle changes and diet changes I have battled that issue successfully Now my worry is that I have lost so much weight now i fear not to loose any more weight further.😤 So anxiety won't leave me till I pass through this phase it seems !Much love and hugs to you and every ladies out there going through this perimenopause transition.
I went to the doctor with a few symptoms, she said its stress and I need counseling because all these blood works seem fine. People let me know it's menopause related then other symptoms stated popping in and out. Am 47 now
Can your body ache especially your lower back? I constantly feel generally unwell like I’m coming down with something, could this be a symptom of peri menopause?
Hello! Have you heard of hypoglycemic symptoms when exercising with peri? I am not diabetic but all the sudden I get sick and weak and clammy when walking. And starving! Even if I ate recently. Thank you
Sorry to hear. Sending healing vibes and hugs your way. 44 is definitely in the range for perimenopause although it sucks that you are experiencing symptoms. I pray your transition isn’t too disruptive.
I'm 45 and experiencing bad cramps in the legs, feels like pins and needles and a numbness at times for no reason. I eat right and started exercising and I'm now getting this hmmm. Is any one else getting this?
@@KariAnneWright you are so kind, I thought I had circulation problems but because I am a vegetarian and exercise I said to myself it can't be. Thanks for answering so quickly. I'm a fan of yours from Trinidad and Tobago.
