This doesn't show room temperature or temperature of the surroundings. It shows your phone temperature. Proof: put your phone on charge or play games and as your phone gets a bit warm, you find find that the app starts to show higher temperatures.
Yes, that skews the results. In order for the app to work correctly it needs to know the resting temperature of your battery and expects that you have all apps closed and your screen off. It does measure room temperature.
@@TheKrodes no it doesn't measure the room temperature. To prove that.. take your phone out from the air conditioned room when the app is showing you less than 25 degree. Then take it to sun light where temperature is 30 degree plus. .. it won't change the temperature in your phone until another 30 mins. As your phone is still very cool
Exactly! It's showing temperature 28°C whereas the temperature is below 10°C here. So it must be device's temperature but it isn't issue of this application as it's written nowhere that it'll show room temperature.
actually it shows phones temperature not room temperature. phone temperature is always more than room temperature because of its processes heat . battery heat
I found that this isn't accurate because it's only 25 degrees outside the indoor temperature shows 72.5 I'm positive that it is only 44 inside because my furnace went out. Useless it shows the room temperature.
thanks for appreciating effort 👌 glad to know this helps you ....if you feel that the effort is worth it and may help others as well , mind sharing this with friends on your social network handles i.e whatsapp, FB, Twitter and other social media handles...it really helps in video reaching out to newer audiences who may be wanting to know about this ...
Ok, so here's my take on all these so-called "Room Temperature" apps They are all h0GwAsH! They at best will measure your phone's internal temp. If you have no apps running in the background and you let your phone sit idle for several minutes. Then your phone's internal temperature will somewhat match your room temp. Problem is, the thermostat on my wall has the inside temp of a room and it is showing 65°, but the Galaxy Senor app is showing 57.2°. If that is true then my heat should kicked on and it has not. My thinking is you would be better off getting an inexpensive thermometer and place them in the rooms you wish to monitor and keep one with you for travel. These apps are FAKE, albeit, the Galaxy Senors app might actually use the senor in your phone to give a guesstimate within 7° to 10° range, but all the temp apps will do that. These apps are no more than a novelty.

@@lorenzo99945 do you think the phone might be close to the room temperature until unless it is overheating or something .... Because everytime i do it , the results come freakingly close to what the room temperature actually is
@@MakeKnowledgeFree if the phone overheats then the resul is inaccurate, even the name of the app is telling you that app is not supposed to be a thermometer
Sher Akbar, glad that this helps ….small favor to ask , can you please share it with friends on whatsapp so that my content reaches a few more deserving audience ..your subscription would also surely help...
@@MakeKnowledgeFree I tried since last night when i saw your video, I'm still observing, but idk which App should i compare with! Any good Android App for measuring temperature?
@@seekfactsnotfiction9056 Sorry for the necro posting but...all the app would be doing is giving you the information the hardware already has. So there is not really a way to be more accurate then whatever your phone is already capable of. So every app will give you the same result. Its just a question of how many ads you want to deal with when looking at that information.
Even my phones doesnt have temperature sensor Atmhospheric pressure sensor Relative Humidity Sensor Altimeter This app showing all the information How??😂😂 Only light sensor is present
Your phone is literately generating heat. The sensor could never get a "true" reading unless the phone was turned off. Bonus: your room is going to have multiple temps because one spot in the room will never be the same as another so\pot in the same room.
