He will not invite you to important occasions at home weddings funerals and he won’t be financially supportive . Lack of social media yes that’s a biggie .lack of attention from his family towards you . Excuses excuses excuses for lack of attention to you . And ladies the real wife may even be in the U.K.OR wherever you are UNTILL he gets his visa .

My ex Nigerian boyfriend lied about still being married and even gave me fake divorce papers. I didn’t find out until his wife threatened me with “spiritual consequences.” He still lied after that and never told the truth. I blocked him

I feel the same. A Nigerian man I dated lied about being married until his wife found out and made threats towards me. It was a nightmare. I’ll never ever ever date a Nigerian again and I mean it. Period

Happy Birthday to you. I do believe all what you are saying. I have this Nigerian guy I've been talking to for 6yrs and I confess I cares alot for and plan to visit him there in Nigeria he wants to get marry but I'm not sure about that. I've always wonder if that will be this case. He often tells me why I hadn't been to visit him, he say it's been 6yrs now and what am I waiting for. Sis. I do care alot for this guy and my heart and mind tells me different. He knows that I'm not to deal with a wife and kids and he knows that I can find that out...just don't know about him to marry. Thanks for sharing this information it maybe all I need to hear. Bless

I'm married to a Nigerian man, I traveled to meet his family over Christmas. They were so wonderful. Yet after meeting the family, I get along well with them yet I question my relationship with my husband. He is so opposite of the. He behavior, actions and it has me questioning everything with him. we even argue more. He is so withdrawn from me, and just asks for funds now. I'm not sure what to do with this man, my husband 😢. watching these videos. has left me worried that did I do the right thing by marring him? or is he just an opportunist using me??

Is it possible for him to have a child or children and claim it’s his sisters ( which the kid is always with him & takes him to school) and that be his wife BUT he gets married to a white lady whom flies to Nigeria 🇳🇬 to wed him?? As what I know😂 Under marriage under act in Nigeria (white wedding,court wedding) you can only marry one person, or else you will be guilty already of bigamy.. but under customary law (traditional wedding) the man can marry a second wife or third, that’s why a lot of women now after traditional wedding they will do white wedding.. a lot of men married traditionally can still marry even abroad cause no record of them getting married when they get a the certificate of bachelorhood cause traditional wedding has no written documents, they only invite people the village people as witness unlike white wedding or court, you will sign a document proof that you are married and your marriage will be registered..

@ELA AND CJ Thanks for sharing your knowledge, all you have said is in order except that for most Nigerian cultures the traditional marriage is the most important one. A man may marry a woman in court or in church and the wife may not be welcomed by his family and people if he didn't marry her traditionally. This is what is referred to as "away marriage" and in Abuja Nigeria, it's called "Abuja marriage". Any woman who marrys a Nigerian man without meeting his family is wasting her time as even the man knows that he is joking with that woman. I don't know which tradition allows more that one wife except the Muslims in Nigeria. It's not true that traditionally a Nigerian can marry more than a wife especially as Nigerians are most Christians and this isn't allowed in the church.

@@MimiliciousMimi Yes it is important they can leave the church/court wedding but not traditional wedding especially if they are not financially stable but not protected with the Nigerian law if everything doesn’t go well. If man plan to marry again he is allowed without consequence. I’ve seen in my village some men with second wife even if they are Christian. It really depends on individual and even men here married to a foreigner that came from polygamous family.. that’s why these days nigerian women do traditional/white wedding.. they no want to hear stories…men were able to marry outside nigeria,got their certificate of bachelorhood because no record of them getting married in Nigeria. So the foreign women don’t know that the man is married traditionally.. some will even lie to their gf and wife that they only pay bride price no ceremony they don’t know that paying the bride price makes her as his wife already…

My man talks to his sister always in secret. He has her save as his one and only love. He will not let me speak to her ever and she messaging him calling him my dear husband and when i question him he told me that how they speak to eachother in his tribe . I have never inn any other culture hear an sister calling her brother my dear husband and sugar daddy. I told him prove me wrong thats not your sisater let me talk to her and he said she dose not want to talk to me because i have question him about it now. Think its all lies
