You have beautiful skin. I keep my routine simple. I do a similar routine but no eye cream and I don’t use a mask pack as often. My skin improved after I stopped eating dairy and after I bought better skin care.
For dewy, glass skin effect. Does not work for everyone. Some people break out when applying too many products. 0. Remove make up. 1. Oil based clenser. (Removes make up, keeps skin hidrated). Rinse with warm water. Pad dry with a towel. 2. Water-based clenser (like foam). Use foam-net, as it's gentler. Removes impurities. Rinse and pad dry. 3. Exfoliator (max 1-2 per week). Use on wet skin, for a gentler effect. Wash off with warm water, pad dry. 4. Toner (helps balance pH of skin, prepares for absorption of following products) 5. Essence (most important step). Can repair dry patches etc 6. Serum (moisture and hidration, evens out skintone). More concentrated version of essence. Brighter skintone, evens tone out. Very important. 7. Sheet face mask (every 2-3 days, moisturizes, don't wear for too long). Allows to absorb nutrients and moisture. Take off, let moisture set. 8. Eye cream (keeps the areas hidrated, tap in). Antioxidants, hidration and nourishment. 9. Moisturizer (for hidration, collagen) 10. If going out: sunscreen If going to bed:la Neige sleeping mask
If I did the double-cleansing thing I'd break out like crazy! I can't even wash my face with the sensitive skin cleanser every day, twice a week at the most!
Dear people complaining about how long this takes: After some time you will have beautiful naturally glowing skin so you won‘t feel the need to apply foundation, concealer and all that jazz anymore, which takes around as much time as actually caring for skin haha
I agree. My skin looks so much better (almost 1 month using it) and I rarely feel the desperate need for full face makeup. I go to work and school with none on
so this skin care routine is used by koreans night and morning? i always thought it was just for at night..damn and i cant always find the motivation to even wash my face with 1 product XD
@tobit i was like that 2 yrs ago.. but when i was approaching 30 i got conscious and started to implement a strict beauty regimen for the past 2 years.. just always think of "wrinkles and hyperpigmentation" as your motivation and if you will buy good/expensive prdcts.. thus will greatly motivate you and you will alwys look forward and give you a different kind of excitement.. im into cosrx (korean brand) and kiehls (american brand in my beuty regimen)....

Girls please don’t forget your neck in all of this. Your neck needs love! Usually you can tells someone’s age (especially women) by looking at their hands and neck, no matter how young and fresh your face is, if u don’t get your neck then it’s useless! All these steps she’s doing, add your neck into it!!! Also moisturize them hands every morning and night! And keeps some hand cream on you in ur purse, put it on every time u wash ur hands!
Adoredbyothers While i agree, especially about what you have said about the neck, Please do not use a handcreme too often. Your hands have a Natural Oil base, if you use handcremes every day twice it will stop producing it and your hands while dry out. Which will result in you using more handcreme, and so on
Oil cleanser (attaches to face oil for better cleaning) water cleanser exfoliator (twice a week at most) toner (balances pH level) essence serum (target personal issues) mask (to absorb the previous) eye cream (prevent wrinkles) moisturiser Sleeping mask or sunscreen
@Zahara Tinwala it's true that you dont need pricey ones, but you need a derma consultation so that you'll know what your skin type amd what skin xare yoy need to buy. that needs money too.
@Zahara Tinwala You have a point.. but you still need to get a consultation, dermatologists studied for that, they have much knowledge than the internet
+Annabeth Mare Hermione Luna not totally, even the small pieces she keeps moving and tucking back need to be pulled back as well did we watch the same video?
+Beautiful Woman Are you dumb, those are baby hairs. you can't tie them back. even if you clip them they often slip out due to their thinness, and it doesn't make much of a difference
Pro tip: Always wash your hands thoroughly before doing anything with your face. Your skin on your fingertips has a lot of oils and germs. Make sure to rub your soapy fingers in a circular motion on your palms to help really get them clean! :)
E eryone in the comments is complaining so much... if you make this a daily routine, it wont hurt, I do it once a day only it begins in the shower & i choose one day in the weekend to pamper my whole body. Your skin will thank you, you wont see it as a bother but as a necessity and it keeps aging away!!!!
I haven't done the 10 step routine but I use a cleanser, toner, serum, and moisturizer. I use a volcanic face mask a couple times a week. My skin has definitely improved. I love the Korean products. I'll definitely check some of these out.
Korean skin care products and make-ups can really do the work! I've been using Korean make-up and it is amazing how it helped my skin look more younger and smoother.
Just try to use netural stuff ( idk what you call it in English-language). But here's an examples: Honey Coconut oil Tea tree Green tea Just search the internet
@@bloomiraa listen, yesterday when i suggested for you a few natural ingredients, i did a deep research about *coconut* and found out *clogs the pores,* please avoid it at all cost, and i advise you to use *Jojoba oil* as an alternative. Please research about everything before you use it at your beautiful face, i care about you stranger, so take care and love yourself.
Check your local TJ Maxx/Marshall's, they might have some of these steps for cheap. Mine almost always has brands like Innisfree, Skinfood, Holika Holika, Frudia, Esfolio, and The Creme Shop.
0:00 Intro 1:06 1. Remove makeup (she removes it with makeup wipes). 1:12 2. Oil cleanser (innisfree green tea moisture cleanser) 2:14 3. Water based cleanser (etude house baking powder pore cleansing foam). - Use a foam net as it is more gentle on your face. 3:29 4. Exfoliater (skinfood black sugar mask wash off) 4:32 5. Toner (etude house moistfull collagen toner) 5:02 6. Essence (cosrx advanced snail 96 mucin power essence) 5:29 7. Serum (green tea seed serum) 6:02 8. Face mask (innisfree it’s real squeeze mask). - Use once every 2-3 days. If you wear it for too long, it will suck moisture out from your skin when the mask dries up. Wear 10-15 min. 7:02 9. Eyecream (innisfree green tea seed eye cream). - Use this on areas where wrinkles are more likely to form (like the corner of your eye, under your eye, over your eyelid, the corner of your lips, the lines near your nose, the place where your dimples should be). It is very important to keep those areas hydrated by tapping the product into those spots. 7:46 10. Moisturizer (etude house moistfull collagen cream) 8:15 11. Sleeping mask or sunscreen. - Depends on if you’re going out or going to bed. If she’s going out, she’ll use sunscreen (I woke up like this sunscreen). Because she’s going to bed in the video, she’ll be using the sleeping mask (laniege water sleeping mask).
All the mentioned product are most used by korean junior or senior high school students, the adult Korean women nearly don't use those product cuz those products are cheap in Korea and have no evident effect to prevent aging or skin problem, my Korean friend once said.
Honestly ever since Jin said that he looks young by acting like a child I've been looking up ways to keep my young face. But then i realised all i need is Cleanser, Toner, serum, moisturizer and a good diet and I'll look young as much as i can :) I just like watching people's skincare routines especially korean skincare because they seem to work really well
Things that she used: 1. Oil based cleanser (Innisfree green tea moisture cleanser) 2. Water based cleanser (Etude house pore based cleanser) 3. Exfoliate (Skinfood black sugar mask) 4. Toner (Etude house moistfull collagen toner) 5. Essence (COSRX snail 97 mucin power essence) 6.Serum (Innisfree green tea seed serum) 7. Mask (Innisfree it's real squeeze mask) 8. Eye cream (Innisfree green tea seed eye cream) 9. Moisturizer (Etude house moistfull collagen cream) 10. Sleeping mask or suncreen (Night: Laneige water sleeping mask)
If you're younger (according to my mom) but still want to get a glassy skin effect, wash your face once with a milk cleanser, then with a gel (or just use gel if you only want to cleanse once), then use toner, rub in some essence and use some moisturiser, your skin will look really radiant and glowy after that 😊
I want to do it, really. but wait... I only use 1 skincare product its a night cream and I'm already confused how to repaid again for next 😂 broke girl can't relate 😂😂😂
*GUYS DONT FORGET A HEALTHY DIET AND LOTS OF WATER ARE EVER SO ESSENTIAL TO HAVE BEAUTIFUL SKIN* If you wanna shine you have to shine from within. Some skin problems wont just be fixed because you washed your face for half an hour
Hi Kim, I remember the saleslady in Innisfree telling me when I bought the Green Tea Seed Serum that I should use it before Essence. It says so in the box as well!
Lucille Beckford Yes, it's correct to use before the essence. It's actually a boosting serum that helps to boost your skin absorption power and also boost effect of next skincare steps. If you're using a swiping motion toner, use the serum after your toner. However, if your toner is a pat on toner, use it straight after cleaning before toner.
I know this is old, but I love my long routines in the morning and evening. I enjoy doing several steps even though I don’t have any big skin concerns. I just enjoy the experience of it all. It’s my self-care.
I wasn’t born with the greatest skin, but with a lot of consistent work, avoiding sun and drinking a ton of water, I’ve achieved decent skin, and I discovered that the more basic the better when it comes to a routine, I personally use: 1. Atoderm by bioderma as a moisturizer 2. A vitamin C serum at night 3. An spf 50 sunscreen everyday (20min before going out) 4. Wash my face once a day (morning) Tip: apply your moisturizer 🧴 whilst your face is still wet, it’ll reduce trans epidermal water loss
I love korean skincare products. I often use oil cleanser , cleanser, toner Klairs, essence Cosrx snail, eye cream collagen etude house and moisturizer. Sometimes I use peel off mask or skinfood strawberry, or sheet masks. My skin is now good. I love your skincare routine. I wish buy the laneige sleeping mask.
Etude house moistful moisturizer is my favourite too. I have been getting a lot of compliments on my skin. It started working within 2-3 weeks. The glow, the glass skin, awesome!!!
And here I am washing my face with an olive bar soap, use rose water as toner and smashing some argan oil to moisturize 😂😂. I need to step up the game!
I tried this, and broke out pretty bad. If you're still getting constant acne I'd suggest using something else. Worked great for my friend, but the 10 step worked wayyyy better for me
She's got great skin, but this looks expensive. There are 11 different products to buy ( the first 9 products, then the spf and the night mask). How much do people spend on this?
I built up my skin routine over the course of two months to minimize overspending. You could try buying the basic things like a cleanser and moisturizer and go from there
If you really want to invest i've heard that it can add up to $100 a month. I mean, it takes serious dedication and the results might be satisfying, but I'm not committed to paying $10 each for 11 products... probably just us
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS OMG XD I have all the products, but I've been confused on when in the routine to do certain things, and didn't know I could/should do toner AND essence. I thought it was supposed to be one or the other. I still need to get a serum, but I have tons of face masks, and thought you used them right after double cleansing, and before toner. XD So this is REALLY helpful! Thanks Kim!
Seattle Sheikah personally I use a face mask right after cleansing as toner also helps to get rid of any residue left from the mask but I don’t use sheet masks. Sheet masks give you moisture whilst I use masks that have other purposes. It all depends
There's some beginner's rule that says from thin to thick when it comes to consistency. For me I use : oil cleanser, foam cleanser, toner, essence, serum, emulsion, cream and sometimes ofc a mask, exfoliater etc. But I'd recommend to just listen to your skin. Try different ways and look what your skin needs. Since every skin has different needs there's no "right" or "wrong" to your method 💙
Oils from my hair runs down my face so its definitely a no for me, but if that's not a problem for you it should be fine. Also hot water is not good for face washing as the person above said.
actually you have two steps. Because a facial wash is using an cleanser. That is what a cleanser does. It washes your face. and then you had your moisturizing.
Honest review: As a man I am truly defeated by you because my skin can't handle the face wash well while you having that soft and delicate skin can use them. Maybe i will just get my old cetaphil back. Other than that, I love the green tea serum. It has that refreshing feeling of green tea aroma on your skin. The green tea face mask is absolutely wonderful beyond words. The snail essent? You can imagine snail crawling on my face and that feeling. Overall, I can say nice video it does open my mind on all the different products out there.
When you mentioned using the eye cream for aging I was like wait she isn’t like 18 ?! You look so young I have to know how old you are 😳!!! & thank you for this video I want to start doing this skin care routine. The only thing I’m missing is the essence
Ok so basically I’ve been doing this for almost 2 weeks now... Info bout my skin: It’s a combination of dry and oily but mostly dry. These were the products I used (some are drugstore): 1.clinque facial soap mild (cleanser 1) 2. Neutrogena ultra gentle daily cleanser (cleanser 2) 3. St.ives mixing bar either Guava Tangerine or Watermelon (only use this once a week) 4. Biore Charcoal whipped purifying detox mask (I use this 2 to 3 times a week) 5. John master organics Aloe toning mist (I think because some of the label has came off) 6. I ran out but some of those hydrating face masks (I forgot where they are from sorry :( ) 7. Clinque clarifying lotion (step 2) 8. Any pimple cream I have (either from target or Andalou naturals blemish banishing gel) 9. Clinque dramatically different moisturizing gel The results: the results... ARE AMAZING!!! I don’t have really bad skin but I have pimples and it was mostly red. Now I have only one or two pimples, my redness has mostly gone away, but the only thing is I still have blackheads. I’m only about 14 so I don’t really need some of that other stuff but it’s never been this clear since I was about 10 or 9. I definitely recommend this and you do not need expensive skin care! (Even tho Clinque is expensive my Dads gf works at Sephora and they own it so she gets a discount) you can do this with any skin products that work for you! Just make sure you have two cleansers, face masks, toner, serum (which I need), pimple cream and moisturizer!
I always wear the mask sometimes way too long like 20 to 25 minutes it’s good that you tell us wearing it too long it’s going to suck the moisturizer from my skin I will be more careful in the future
People other than the ones who actually have glass skin shoulf stop going crazy over all this. I've been there. Tried every sorta expensive routines including the korean ones. And my skin hardly had any difference. Infact I realised that I have tortured my skin way too much. Now I just eat healthy(not always) And the glow from within is more imp from what we put superficially. Hydrate urself, exercise a little, take vitamin c and collagen supplements. Right now I'm using only mild cleanser, moisturizer for sensitive skin and a 50spf sunscreen and my skin is glowing better than ever!
