I have a question; every kayak will eventually have a flip moment. How to get back in the Lynx after the spill? The level of difficulty must be more than other Kayaks due to the lightness of the Lynx.. Have you ever fallen in deep water and how did you get back on?
That is a great question. Yes! I have flipped but it was at the surf so I just walked/swam back to the beach. Buuuuuttt, I do go snorkeling off the lynx all the time and getting back on is way easier than other kayaks. Because it’s so flat you basically just flop your torso on it and you’re good. Climb up like it’s nothing. The first time I did it I saw a shark and jumped back in that yak so fast and easy. Since then it’s been a breeze. 🤙🏼
No problem man! It handles very well. I recently put it up against some choppy water and boat wakes (2-3 feet swells) and I was even more impressed. It just glides right over them. Even ate some from the side with no issues. 😳
