I was wondering who the maker of the service was. They are beautiful!! I collect China as well! My love began the same as Philip’s. My grandmother had the most beautiful wedding porcelain in her china cabinet. Even as a young child I claimed to be mine some day. I have it now and love it so much I display it like she did. Once we had to evacuate for a hurricane and I packed it all in a giant yeti cooler and stuffed it in my car. Forget the suitcases! I had to take the china. Lol Thank goodness for the soccer mom mini van. It was hand painted in Texas with the most beautiful pink roses on a blue background and a lovely gold border. I often use the tea service. Anyway, I am now obsessed with china now and have so much it is hard to find places to store them. Maybe I need an attic Narnia.
This is the most beautiful table!! I liked Christmas turtle, but you made it the most beautiful "stable" and I was so impressed!! I wish I could come be apart of the team in person, but until then I will watch, like, comment, and be a Lady of LaLande! By the way, I received my card at the beginning of the year and was delighted to have a limited print of LaLande and a piece of Stephanie's writing!! I feel so included and I just love you all so much! Thanks again!
My family and I are on day 5 isolation( 2kids and husband) got tested positive for covid.. not what i pictured Christmas would look like but with this video.. u inspired me to still decorate and make it special. Merry Christmas everyone!
Am in the same boat! Am truly sorry you are going through this as a family, and at this time of the year. Cannot believe that it would happen. We have had all vaccines, but now my husband and I are isolated at home. We though do not have the children at home as we are in our early 70's. But do believe 'all of us' will have a nice Christmas regardless! We are going to get through this ordeal however we can, and we can be thankful, that we are with someone we love. Thank goodness this awful time of not feeling very well will pass. Be well soon!

The table is so beautiful. My favorite!, as Stephanie would say. I use a lot of cranberry color at Christmas, so the pink is just lovely to me. I plan to set the table tomorrow, so this was wonderful to see. My nativity is on the sideboard, and i have candles and hydrangeas down the table so far.

@@lauralaladarling3775 I always thought it was a waist of time and effort after my children had grown to do a Christmas decorating anything. My mother on the other hand who is in her 80’s still goes all out. I never understood the need to do much but being a single mom of 4 it was one more thing I just didn’t see the need or the reason for spending money on stuff. I did do as best as I could for the kids when they was little but now I am finding the reason to do it for me. 2022 will be a much better year looking forward to Swedish death cleaning (it isn’t as bad as that sounds) making room for new things and better enjoyment of home and family
