MashaAllah. I am a revert, Alhamdulillah, but I have hesitated for years to learn Arabic because I was so insecure on it. I began yesterday after making dua and I am enjoying it. It is not so scary, especially with practicing letters and connecting and beginning basic vocabulary. I have mesmerized Quran ayats using transliteration/English but InshaAllah I will be able to read and understand in Arabic. I will also look into your institute. InshaAllah when I can afford to I would love to join. Shukran ❤

سلام! Well said. When learning Latin, I encountered many people who focused too hard on the grammar first, which actually made people hate the language. I am still a beginner in Arabic, but I am doing things quite differently now than I did when learning languages in school and university (I studied German and French in uni). Lots of vocabulary first, I look up grammar points when needed but I don't focus on them yet.

The perfect video! Many thanks to the author of the channel for the recommendations! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot's Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.

Thanks for the input. I'm a Brazilian national who speaks English and now I'm starting a journey in Arabic after 25 years. I would day vocabulary is more important than grammar rules. In Portugues we have got more than 20 verb tenses combined where we actually barely use 2 or 3 on a regular basis and it is a rabbit hole for new leaners who are obsessed with only grammar. They get Madinah which can be daunting and then start with other books and get overwhelmed and give up. I'm starting Al Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk book 1 and i do really enjoy every lesson slowly but surely until the end. I will only start asking where to go from where when I finish them and maybe teaching what i learned to consolidate everything and thats how i learned english and everything will come naturally. Nowadays I dont really like going to english grammar since it is a waste of time for me unless i really need to write something more formal and thats it.

I think you are right in everything but, as an Italian student of Arabic, I mean that after an initial period with the book then it's necessary to have a teacher who follows you. and yes, continue to practice: writing, listening, even repeating sentences out loud (trying to recite the Koran is one way). إن شاء الله

Mm. Points 3-5 stuck out to me, but especially 5. I have some pretty serious attention issues, and switch between things on a whim. It's so hard for me to stay focused, and it's starting to show in the level of detail I'm able to recall about all the things I supposedly know.

For a serious person, the advantage of going to a foreign land is that you would have left behind many distractions and sources of excuses. (I said serious because some people still don't benefit from going to a foreign land). Of course, with dedication, you can become fluent in Arabic in your home country.
