Bro when I first used blender I made a tree using only a cube, loopcut, and extrude. It took me a few days, and here you made a tree of around the same quality in about a minute. Blender has so many tools it's actually scary.
This is giving me the motivation to start blender. I love games and I always wanted to be part on game development. And I love building stuff in games so Blender is probably something I would really go for to learn.
Same I love to play games that let you create and use your imagination to make it even bigger. I feel that I will be really interested in learning Blender!
@@Readysetoof Oh wow it's been a year since I commented on this. I did try to learn for 2-3 months then I stopped all of a sudden because of school. As of now I'm just doing videography and video editing as a hobby.
So hard to find. It’s kinda funny roblox blender tutorials made me learn blender more than blender tutorials… major rip because the difference is in the hours it takes to watch just plain painful blender tutorials lol

Now I do have one issue with the model shown above it’s has almost 9k tries so it will lag the game a ton if you put this in anything but a showcase or a small map with a few amount of trees

the fact he never explained how to lock onto axis, thats its right click, how to resize proprotional editing, pretty mid tutorial (EDIT) for those wondering, you lock onto axiswith the 6 dot thing in the top right of the moveable window and you resize proporitonal eiditng with g + mouse scroll

great tutorial, maybe mentioning the sapling tree gen addon (included when you download blender) would have been nice. It can create fairly realistic trees easily.
I do my own game and i model some creatures, i watched a LOT of tutorials to figure out how i could shape on both sides ate the same time and not seperatly , no one told me that i had to press 'G' so i made one projekt just to figure out some things with the keyboard shortcuts, but i can only shape the side of the creatures, still dont know how to shape the whole body since there are not as much tutorials for the body
I hope I get really good at blender and start my own line of ugc things but what I have gone to a stop on is uv editing I hope I will figure it out and get accepted to the ugc program
i really need to get my models more Optimized. i am a complete noob and never made roblox games. but on some coincidence i was invited to be part of making one now. only me and the scripter. but now that i put hundrets of hours into it, as soon as you press play it uses like 5-8gig of ram, depending on where you start it (in studio its way more than in there game). i really messed up and now i am stuck to go through every model trying to improve it but i only found one video which is a time-lapse of making unions and models more optimized in blender, but i dont like that. i want to understand. and be able to reliably reproduce these optimization techniques. i mean i am going for a robloxy semi relaistic art style which might also contribute to my very detailed models. we also have a a large mine which is random generated from blocks which also not contributing to the performance but this is the main feature of it. anyhow now i am at a loss on how to make things easier for the memory and i really wanna learn how to export a modle or union, delete faces u cant see, improve it and put it back into roblox. if you or someone can point me at the rightr path it would be greatly appreciated.

yo ro builder , ik this is an old video but ive been using cylinders to make tree trunks , they seem to have significantly more triangles , do you know if it will have a impact on the game
