No it's not, because, when passing, you're trying to NOT touch the ball with your hands. With this method you're practicing receiving the ball in the wrong spot on your arms.
@@impulsive8297 Yeah, but improving at volleyball goes way faster if you start with the proper technique. If you start developing bad habits early, it's going to take some work to get the bad habits out and it will definitely slow you down in the long run.
I wish they had taught us volleyball like this in P.E. would've made it easier to learn and understand instead it was "we're not gonna go over the rules, i expect you all to know and follow them or else you get a lower grade" 😭
This can help me with volleyball I joined my volleyball team and I had my last game on Saturday and I did good but I think i still need to improve more so maybe this can help me thank u❤
A smart thing to do is to also have them hold their platform after the pass because it helps them see what they did wrong if they shanked the ball and also seems to make them more consistent.
I reallly want to do volleyball so badly but I’m scared to be a beginner because I’m 13 and I already do ballet and figure skating so I know I won’t have time but every time I see a volleyball ball video my heart kinda breaks bc I want to do it so SO bad
My girl best friends play volleyball but they in Italy it's different,to pass the ball they unit their hand(🤲) then the right hand goes upper the left and with your thumbs you create a mini x, that's how they pass in the Italy volleyball😂
I moved to a new school and all the students there know how to play volleyball. So during P.E while other students play volleyball, the new students (Alot of students changed schools this year, so there were a lot of us) sit aside watching the others play. It looked so fun. And during one period there weren't many students, so they asked us if we wanted to play. We said we did not know and they were like, "Gurl, lemme teach you. It's super fun!". And it was. Now I'm very much looking forward to play volleyball and play great (so the opposite team doesn't win because of me lol).
Step 1-3: Pass with your hands (wrong). Step 4-5: Pass with your under arms (right) Step 1-3 teach a wrong position. I don‘t see the benefit. You should place the rings on another way.
I wish I learned this way, maybe I would have been better. But let’s be for real when in volleyball or volleyball PE does the pass ever come that light?? 😂
@@blkrtist I play but passing is my weakest point. I think it is to do with coordination and angles. A lot of people just thrust their arms at the ball by making a ball go through you have to angle everything correctly.
Bruh, my highschool teacher just spiked the ball at us on our first day. To 'test' if we'd be any good at it. Like, half of us is not athletic and probably a third of us don't even KNOW we weren't supposed to NOT let the ball touch the floor. (Because they dodged, scared) I wish I had a teacher like this.
