Impresionante tu capacidad didáctica y tus buenas demostraciones..!!
This is so helpful! I need to get some live lessons for sure, but in the meantime this video is the closest to a real training cause you are actually doining it while filming. Great stuff thanks!!
Geweldig goede video! Dankjewel en keep up the good work! Groeten vanuit België ;-)
Your videos are great, your explanations are very simple and easy to understand. Please add subtitles in Spanish to increase the number of visits. Saludos desde Chile.
Hi Ronnie! Thanks for commenting on the video again😃 I will look into the Spanish commentary, could be a good way to increase views. Saldos desde Hollanda! Gracias!
hello I really liked your video! I have shared it in one of the best padel channels in Spain (improve your padel) by Manu Martin. Tomorrow I start to practice your livera. a greeting hola me a gustado mucho tu vídeo! lo he compartido en uno de los mejores canales de padel de españa (mejora tu padel) de Manu Martin. Mañana empiezo ha practicar tu vivora . Un saludo
Wow, I got a shout out at 21:26. That's a youtube first ! Anyway great video, nice breakdown of the build-up, very useful. One thing always bugged me, the ambiguity of the word slice, it could mean backspin or sidespin (especially for tennis players) and you do try to clarify by using 'sideslice', but it keeps getting mixed up and is confusing at times since the vibora shot obviously contains both backspin and sidespin. In regards to the question, I'd say it depends on the speed of the ball. A slower paced ball can be placed quite deep, behind the line, pushing your opponent back. But since the vibora is a fast shot and I'll assume that the defender is at his proper position, I could be more effective to place the ball just in front or on top of the service line so that the rebound after the glass is almost impossible to hit in front of you as seen at 18:41.
Thank you Stijn! Great comment again👏🏼 I think the vibora has some backspin, but I tryed to mainly focus on the amount of side-slice. That is the most important part of the shot, and that is what makes it a vibora! Well.. before and after the line. You make a good point there! The main problem with playing behind the line is that your opponent might volley the ball back. If you play on the line, they have to half-volley the ball. And if they use the wall, the ball remain behind the white line after the bounce. I agree with your explanation 😃
Whaou! Great practical lesson! Great sparing partner too ;) I've been told the drive (right player) should not do víbora, true? Otherwise, where to hit as a drive? Merci!
Thank you Marc! Well.. I prefer to play a vibora instead of a bandeja. No matter where I am (right or left) The ball will rebound very strange of the wall with the vibora and.. the ball is very hard to half-volley. I think it is possible to place the vibora in the corner, side wall, fence or in the middle from the right. Side slice can make it easier for you to get the ball cross.
Found you by accident - glad I did. Great instruction with a bit of humour! Desperate to try out your tips but in Scotland and: 1 Just back from Spain so have to do 14 days quarantine and: 2 Weather terrible, no indoor courts so have to wait until April....? Where are you based? - I might come to you (after quarantine)....
Gracias Jim! Nice of you! I am sure your trip to Spain was great! Take care in the quarantine over there! I quess we have to wait untill April😅 I live 15 minutes from Amsterdam Schiphol airport, and I give some lessons closeby. Well.. I am happy you say that! I am going to spent some time translating the substitles to Spanish!
great video!! Could you do the same video for right handed players playing the right side? because they will use the Vibora a lot. Super video!! Like your content!
