Some provide tons of resources, while others have limited resources. You have to explore your specific district's websites to determine what you have available. Have a great day.

When a district-provided curriculum map isn't available, or if you are in a charter or private school that cannot access resources from a larger district, you can still create a curriculum map by following these steps: 1. Identify Standards National or State Standards: Begin by reviewing the relevant national or state standards for your subject area and grade level. These standards will guide what students need to know and be able to do by the end of the course. School-Specific Goals: If your school has specific educational goals or outcomes, include those as well. 2. Determine Scope and Sequence Scope: Decide on the breadth and depth of content to be covered. This involves selecting the key concepts, skills, and knowledge that students should learn. Sequence: Organize these elements in a logical order, determining when each will be taught during the school year. Consider the progression of skills and concepts from simple to complex. 3. Break Down Units Unit Planning: Divide the school year into units based on the scope and sequence. Each unit should have a specific focus and cover a set of related standards. Time Allocation: Estimate how much time you will spend on each unit. This helps in pacing your instruction. 4. Design Assessments Formative Assessments: Plan ongoing assessments that allow you to monitor student progress throughout each unit. Summative Assessments: Create or identify assessments that will measure student mastery of the standards at the end of each unit or term. That's ok. You can map it out yourself. Just take the standards for the year an d divide them into 4 quarters. If you have a textbook, use that as a guide.

Yes!!! We recommend following the standards as a home school mom/teacher because then your students are on the same track as the district. Of course you have more freedom as a homeschool teacher. But following the standards is a great practice :)

And also, homeschool families get all the district resources. So you may be able to get a log in to access some of those links in the curriculum map.
