Short and powerful stories in zen. Rightly said one need to live in the present and not hanging on to the thoughts. Once we live in present, the nature shall open the hidden side of life. Life is so beautiful when one lives in present.
My ex broke it off with me over a month I carried hurt daily wouldn't stop thinking of him and being angry at the lies that I made a fake fb account to cause drama which I regret now after a few too many drinks. It was not my proudest moment and it was vindictive of me to do such thing to inflict pain onto others. I have learnt to finally let go of him and the hurtful things that probably caused a friendship breakup and a relationship break up. Time to let it all go. I made a mistake of not leaving the past in the past. Sometimes we learn the hard way.
Buddha once said to ask yourself whether it is beneficial for you to hold on to the past. Does it let you live your fullest in the present. Are those memories causing pain or pleasure, both will cause pain, as painful memory is being brought to your present moment. And pleasant memory also cause pain, as the pleasant thing is no longer in your present moment. All the best
"I am not able to let go" I offer you, we cannot get beyond what we believe. Gently say to yourself,"I can let go & it gets easier each day. Things always work out for me, so I can let this go. I release this to make space for what I'm manifesting into my life."Recite it outloud quietly for 5 minutes, 2-3 times a day. Light & Love to you!
