Installed a 2” kit today, and boy what a pain in the ass the rear is. I got the front done in 10 min. Finally after seeing your video ended up getting the rear done thanks!
Nice! I got an 02 outback 2.5 5spd and an 06 legacy gt 5spd and gonna do an overlander type build on my outback. Love it! I just replaced my drives haft and front right cv axle and curious what ended up being the issue you mentioned regarding the exhaust touching and anything else you had to do once lifted. Thanks
What you had to do to get it the strut back on is a great idea. My 05has been sitting for 3 years with the struts off because I couldnt figure out how to get the bottom bolt holes to line up. It pissed me off so bad I just bought a truck instead. Thanks for the video buddy!
Thanks for the video. Ive got an old 2009 LL bean I have been thinking about doing this to. I go on and off of a lot of construction sites and thought, heck it is paid for and cheap to drive... why put miles on my $55k truck when I dont need to carry or pull something. I can just convert it from a family vehicle to a work vehicle and beat on it for a few more years :)
Too many comments to be made!!! But that last time lapse had me rolling! What kind of rat was that? The ones on my property only get about 3/4 that size… that thing was huge. Had to pause it to check out the badges. 😂
I just bought a 2003 outback 2.5 limited and i want to lift it. I am thinking 2 inches and i fully intend to go see what it can do offroad. I live in a small mountain town with shiity roads. What lift should i get?
